Should I read this?

I've been planning on reading Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunters series for a while now. My mom said she used to read them and quite enjoyed it, but stopped reading around the time the Infernal Devices segment started. I hear a lot of mixed opinions about the Clare's books. Some say it's good and others say its bad. I've been stuck in a reading slump so I wondering if trying to read Clare's books would be good for a fantasy fan like me.
What are your opinions?

Yes I think it’s definitely worth giving it a go! I’m planning on reading all of Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter series which is like 20 books😬 but I’m excited. Either buy The Mortal Instruments and read part 1 (the first 3) as these are the first out of all of them. It’s just some people say they don’t like TMI so maybe buy The Infernal Devices instead? If you’re worried. As pretty much everyone loves these. I am planning to start them soon!! But I personally loved TMI and can’t wait to read the next three after I’ve finished The Infernal Devices. Let me know what you decide! x

I absolutely think it’s worth giving it a shot! I haven’t read all of her books yet, but The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices. I truly enjoyed them! If you’re in this group I feel like you will too. Right up our alley, you know? When it comes to reading books and going for something you’re not sure if (I’m in a book group and they force me to read outside of fantasy) I figure, what is the worst that happen? That I don’t like it? Well ok then! No biggie! But I have a strong feeling that you will ;)
