The Noticer question

I have been asked this question many times and every time my view of this question. Overall, we can interpret that Jones has human-like characteristics such as his facial descriptions, feelings of empathy, and understanding. Although Jones may share these human-like characteristics like you and me he often shows up randomly, so could this mean he is a spirit of some sort, maybe an angle or an imaginary figure? What are your thoughts?
