Though apolitical, he loves and lives with Sarah, a political operator trying to defeat New York's corrupt senior Senator. When New York allows residents to buy and sell votes in political elections, Hector dives into the turbulent mix of money and power. Hijinks ensue, and Hector's greed runs face-first into his sense of humanity and community.
