Hi! If you're still looking for a comfort reading I would recommend you Angela Thirkell, P.G. Wodehouse, E.F. Benson, Barbara Pym, Nancy Mitford, E.M. Delafield and Stella Gibbons. :-)
I love many of these authors and am grateful to have a few more here to look into. I would add I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith, Georgette Heyer's Regency Novels especially Grand Sophy, Venetia, and Frederica, and if you want a little mystery, I like Patricia Wentworth.
Thanks Andrea, I love Heyer, but haven't read those titles... I will look up Patricia Wentworth as well.
