I will be reading this after I finish my current book (which is 1100 pages, so it may be awhile), but I am excited to get started!

Hello! This is my first book with the club and one that I have read before (but not the entire series) and am excited to continue the series with everyone!

I just started (maybe 4 chapters or so in) and I think its a fairly strong start. There is a bit of world building, various characters are introduced and some conflict.

I will say...I LOVE the magic in this world and how different it is from traditional magic. Excited to see what others think!

First time reading a work of Brent Weeks, I'll try to finish this one on time.
So...I'm five chapters in and, I don't know if it's because I'm reading the spanish translation or if it is the writing style of the author, but I'm...confused because of some terms and bits of the worldbuilding. So far is pretty ok, specially the magic system (even though I'm not understanding how it works one bit...). I hope I'll acclimate soon.

I'm reading this one. I've read a few Brent Weeks books from a different series and they didn't make too much of an impression (I don't remember what they were about anymore haha) but I decided to tackle this one with the group. I'm about 20% in and I like it quite a bit so far! I find the magic system hard to understand still, but the plot and characters are interesting and my attention is engaged. Hopefully it keeps up!
