My other series I set aside for now, but it's always crouching in the back of my head, impatiently waiting for me to finish with this one.

I'm working on my very first book.So far i'm half way through just a few more poems to go.(Inspiration...it's me..yes the one holding a metal pole.Feel free to strike me anytime!!

Wow, I'm looking forward to writing this baby. I'm looking at about 100 pages, which for me is really short. I hope to have it done and out soon.
I can't wait to ask for beta readers for this one. 0_0

I just finished my 2nd novel which serves as a sequel to my firstGarage Band : The Legend of Dookie Harris novel, and I'm currently working on a short story novel.

I am working on two novellas - they are companion pieces to one just published called Juliet's Journey http://amzn.to/1MPH25S. All three are set in Italy where I spent six months out of a 'mid-life' gap year in 2007-2008. They are fiction though!

I am working the sequel to my first novel, which should come out by September. Hopefully, I will be able to follow up with the sequel within three months or so.
Hoping my Beta readers will get back to me about my Scifi book here shortly. I know it needs a little tweaking.

I am also working on a related MG novel, an unrelated short chapter book, a leveled reader science/reading picture book (That's way more SUPER FUN than it sounds), and creating a picture book from my toddler's original story. Just enough to keep busy with ;)

...My tan.
Seriously, I'd like to say I'm working on a new project or next in series, but when the temperature is up over 100°, my brain shuts down.

I should've worked on my tan too but I tend to burn more than anything! lol.
I just got my manuscript back from my editor. I'm going over the changed right now and just have to fix up a few more things and then it's crunch time as I'll be going onto Createspace to upload it and all that jazz!

Okay, you caught me. I figured online I could pretend I'm not actually a ghost. ;)

Here I am tryin' to look all old and scary with one:

The back of the badges has a brief book blurb, QR codes going to the book's Kindle and Smashwords pages. Would have liked to have done this with the cover to my next novel in the same universe but I don't have the cover art yet.
Hopefully people will find the swag cool enough to wear around the conference. Walking billboards w/direct links to my pages.
Oh well...fun to do anyway.
P.S. I cover up when I'm in the sun, and hide under a huge umbrella when at the beach, while wearing SPF 897 sunscreen.

That looks awesome! Did you make them yourself?
Good luck!

Thanks!
No, I didn't make them myself. That would have been a bit difficult.
I ordered 100 lanyards custom made online. That was the most expensive part (they have "Merchant Corps" printed on them--The Merchant Corps Histories is the universe the book is in and for which the second novel is almost done).
The badges came from a different company, which normally prints custom tickets and event passes/badges. I had 200 of them printed, twice as many as I have lanyards. These are about as heavy as playing cards, made of a supposedly non-tear plastic. The cover image is just the cover of my eBook; the back of the badge has text and layout that I did in Word with two QR codes so people can scan them and order right at the conference.
And then I also ordered 100 vinyl snap straps to connect lanyard to badge from an online office supply store.
They were expensive enough to negate any royalties I might get off eBook sales (unless the QR codes on the back are used by multiple people per badge, which I doubt will happen). But the idea is really to get name recognition out there among hardcore SF fandom.

Well I think they look great and it is a really cool idea! I hope that multiple people use them multiple times.

**thumbs up!**
Took one to work to show some co-workers. Came home w/out it 'cause one of them scarfed it up! Hopefully he'll wear it to the comic conventions and Magic the Gathering tournaments he goes to.

When I get to where I think I'm stuck, I force myself to sit down and write. Sometimes my best ideas come out of a stream of supposed crap.
