What are you working on?
My debut novel, Blood Toy, is on to copy-editing. I am working on the re-write for the second in the series. I also have a "based on a true story" novel about trauma and adoption in the works (but a long way off).
Please guys, keep your promotional posts to the promotion folder. If you promote outside of the promotion folder, it WILL BE DELETED!
I was finally able to begin the editing process for my third novel, Ronan, last night. I'm so excited to finally be done writing it - I was trying to finish by the end of June and practically killed myself finishing it over the past couple of days, even though I've still got a little time. The editing process is so much more relaxing than the writing process :P
I'm finishing up the first draft of my Bounty sequel, called Blood Ties, and I'm about to start working on a completely new project, a supernatural epic. I've even started outlining the plot for the third Bounty novel, tentatively titled Behind the Badge, because the story just would not leave me alone.
I'm making the final edits on Deception (Forgotten Princess #2) for its release on Wednesday. I am also in negotiation with an artist to do pictures for Teddy Bear Junction this week so I can release a soft cover. And I hope to have Conspiracy (#3) written by the end of the week, to begin the editing phases.
Very close to releasing another short story. This one takes place in Patagonia. See the preview here.
Right now I'm currently working on my 4th novel, Opium Warfare. Just finished up having the book group for it help me with ideas and I hope to send it to an editor tonight or tomorrow.
I'm revising and rewriting the second book in my mystery series set in a homeowners association. The first book is up on Kindle Scout. I'm assuming those are one book deals if it is chosen for publication, so I'll be placing the second book on Amazon myself when it is done.
Halfway through what I am hoping to be my final revision of a YA Fantasy novel, writing a second YA Fantasy for campnano (I was working on the revision for so long I needed to do something creative for a month). I have a 3rd novel somewhat outlined...and a handful of ideas for short stories. Next month I mean to complete the revision while my trusty readers look at the nano project.
Boundless: a free digital short that I'll release next month that's a prequel of sorts to my first novel, Bounty; currently in the editing-formatting-cover creation stage.Blood Ties: the follow-up to Bounty that will be released in Kindle and paperback in January 2016; currently in the editing stage.
Behind the Badge: the third novel in the Bounty series; first draft is in-progress and no release date has been set as of yet.
Notna: supernatural epic detailing a centuries-old Holy War and a mystical artifact at the center of it all; first draft is in-progress and no release date has been set as of yet.
Fading: supernatural mystery that follows a man who survived a near-death experience and now communes with the dead; first draft is in the planning stages and no release date has been set as of yet.
I'm finish up on a YA/literary fiction/coming of age set in 1980-2008, psychological horror/thriller/ mystery/suspense/dark romance/family/sports/multilingual/multiracial/multicultural/ with several intricate plot twists, etc. while also working on a sci-fi-urban fantasy, and the sequel to it.
Home in the stars series scifi romance. On the last book, right now. Home from the Hill. Hoping to have it out within the next six weeks, but life is kicking my but. Two other projects in the works.
The Last Damsel - dark fantasy set in an otherworldly place with puzzles, murder puppets and fairytale motifs. AKA - my masochist pastime
Editing the second book in my series. While I'm procrastinating the editing I'm drafting up the third novel.
Oh, as usual, I have a million things going right now.
Hope to have out in August:
BOO! My Haunted Life - True tales of my dealings with ghosts
Happy Clown Burger Vol. 2 - More tales from Happy Clown Burger #3209 in Snokalamatee, WI
Roasted - A collection of stuff published in my first year as a published writer.
Also in the works: Barber Chop (A Spirit Bluffs story), Hitchhikers (Another Spirit Bluffs Story), Mr. Meeker In Black and some other stuff.

Working on 3 WIPs at the moment -- a rewrite of an older novel (psychological horror), a fantasy novella in first draft, and a fantasy novel in first draft status as well. Keeps me on my toes.
Dwayne wrote: "BOO! My Haunted Life - True tales of my dealings with ghosts"Dammit, Dwayne! Now I *have* to work on B-b-but I'm a Skeptic! which is my own dealings with the unexplainable. Then we can market together.

Actually, that's an awesome idea. It's perfect marketing. lol
A YA Horror novel was released a few months ago based on a fictional you-tube series about a girl and her mother moving to Seattle and settling into a haunted house...can't think of the name of the book atm, bet someone else knows it though. If anyone's looking to do that sort of thing, it'd probably be a good research-read :)
Have several going at once. Waiting for return from editors: Guardian Legend (epic steampunk fantasy), Spellbound (teen urban fantasy), The Enforcer (dark fantasy / crime), Jive Turkeys Need Not Apply (action adventure police procedural), Telestar (science fiction military Mecha).
Currently Working : Enter A Shadowy Figure (signet #2), line of fire (agency #4), written in blood (devil hunter isawa #3)

Working on the second draft of the follow up novel based on the timeline set in my first novel, Stranger's Dance. I also have the synopsis and character development done on the third novel in that timeline.
I'm working on the sequel to my YA paranormal romance Shadowed Strength: Shadowed Series Book One. I'm about 13K words into it.
A collection of short stories called Bullied. Showcasing different types of bullying in the world and the best way to take action. It's my attempt at raising awareness about an important cause. Also; a fun series called Cognition that plays with a bunch of different conspiracy theories all in one story. Although its main focus is on the illuminati. It's not as trippy as it sounds though, it's a love story. And it's a whole lot of fun to write the use of magic! Anybody else out there recreating the way we use/see magic in literature?
Charles wrote: "There was an awesome NES game called Guardian Legend."Hmm maybe that's where the title came from. I might have to dig through my NES carts and play that one again. Guardian legend is just a working title; still hadn't come up with a new one yet. Lolz
Trina wrote: "A collection of short stories called Bullied. Showcasing different types of bullying in the world and the best way to take action. I tend to write magic realisim within the confines of metaphysics but I do occasionally bend rules in fantasy. My favorite things to do are developing new complex magic systems from other parts of the world (western 5 elements gets boring after awhile ). I will mos def check it out when its available
Finishing the first draft of The White Russian Caper - sequel to my debut novel. About 64K words in; expecting to top out at ~70K
Have been working on sequels to both of my novels, although I'm not aware that there is any great demand for them. Have some ideas and nearly 2000 words on one of them, but haven't buckled down to flesh them out yet. Maybe when summer's over I'll spend more time on it.
K.P. wrote: "Jive Turkeys Need Not Apply (action adventure police procedural)"I don't even care that I don't read that genre, I would read this based on the name alone. We really need to bring back seventies slang.
Angela wrote: "Writing is fun but I'm currently editing my fantasy novel. It's been 14 years in the making (seriously!) but now I have the revised version of Book One of The Four Worlds, A Fantasy Adventure serie..."Angela, I think that sounds amazing! Looking forward to the release!
I'm cleaning up my first series for our August giveaway and I'm planning my descent into hell...let's hope this doesn't end badly!
The final add to my third Novel Amy Lynn, The Lady of Castle Dunn. It is the History of the Castle Dunn. Studying lots of Irish history for a 3000 word add. Then it's done. Cover Photo shoot was two days ago. Editor is finished, secondary editor with fresh eyes is doing a final read through. Then that's it. Linear 3 part story complete. Unless I recoup enough money to break even there will not be a number four.
I am working on my cover design fro my first Fiction, TJ's Last Summer in Cape...just finished working on my cover for my memoir. Nostalgia from: A City St Upon a Hill .... that is about boarding life at y all boys' high school

Lolz there will be plenty :)
I grew up hearing it and most of my favorite shows on telly were out around that time. I watched stuff like starsky & hutch, chips, swat, doctor detective quincy, rockford files, kojack, mccloud etc... I like cop and detective shows obviously Lolz
I will let you know when its ready for release. Waiting on edits and art to return....
Riley wrote: "I'm cleaning up my first series for our August giveaway and I'm planning my descent into hell...let's hope this doesn't end badly!"Bring chocolate grahm crackers and marshmellows :)
Just started book 3 of my Soiled Dove Sagas. Book 2 is in edit now. I have truly enjoyed this journey!
I'm working on three novels, one psychological thriller with several mixed genres, the other sci-fi fantasy with mythological/paranormal, a new adult with several mixed genres. All have several intricate plot twists.
Christina wrote: "And as for what I've been working on...AKA... Those fun romantic scenes I am awful at."
That's priceless!
Working mainly on finishing our 4th novel and a related novella. Making beta readers (almost) cry. (We're making to up to them.)
Finalizing the edits on my next novel...And putting together my swag marketing stuff for Worldcon 2015.
I'm currently agonizing over the wait to get the cover art, and add finishing touches to finally publish my first story. I'm working on a series of 'short stories' (the first one is around 9000 words, but I think the second one is going to exceed the size I had in mind at first) to get the reader acquainted with the world and some major players in it, before moving to the actual plot I wanted to work with.
I'm working on next in the Wildlands series, called Arcadian's Balm, and in snatches I'm working on the second in my Innocents series, called Innoncence Aroused, and the second in my Belle Epoque series, called In the Gatehouse with the Gardener. And I'm trying to adjust to my new job, so really I'm not getting nearly enough writing done at all.
