Hi, I've owned Six of Crows for a couple of years (got it from a friend on my birthday) and my mum actually read Shadow and Bone but I've never gotten round to reading any of this universe. I'm planning on trying to read the trilogy this month before the middle of March so then I can join in on this buddy read

Btw, I see on Goodreads "The Demon in the Wood" is listed as book 0.5. I assume this is a preqeul, would people suggest I read this before I read Shadow and Bone or would it spoil things?

I read the demon in the wood after the trilogy and would recommend doing it! It doesn't spoil a lot but it is better to read it after book 1 or at the end
i’ve already read it but i’m planning on rereading it before the show comes out, so if the timing works out i think i’ll join too :)

I don't think so, we are starting on the 16th of march! I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive but I'm super excited and I think the more people to discuss it with the better, right? :)
Or course not!! I’d love to have all of you. Question: would we like to read the book organized, like 2 chapters a day and then talk about it, or would we like to read at our own pace. Either works for me. Just let me know what you all want to do.

I think reading designated chapters a day might be a good idea because then we'd avoid accidentally spoilling things for eachother when discussing it
Of course Emma! And I can fix that, I think I might have the ability to create a group, and then create designated chapter discussions if that works for you all

Yes! Anyone is aloud to join. I’m gonna make the group tonight, I’ll add all of you too it just make sure to friend me. I will make designated conversations for each chapter, so once your done with the chapter, you can talk about it in that space. Does that sound okay?
Okay so I've made the group and some discussions-however its not letting me create other topics in the discussion. I will try to figure it out tomorrow. If you read past chapter 3 that's fine. Maybe if you read past chapter 3 discuss it in here? Let me know your ideas. Sorry for the inconvenience.
