I have like, 5 ideas for characters, and one of them includes a daughter of Pan and Selene. Still trying to figure out how to make that work. Anyway, I suggest using the character workshop thread.

Godly Parent: Demeter

Years at camp: She has only been a year-round camper for 3 years but has been coming since she was 7 years old.

Preferred Weapon: She prefers to use a bow and arrow and/or plants since she's not much for confrontation

Appearance: Dark brown eyes and pale skin. Dirty blond hair and freckles. She has soft features and thin lips. Her hair is long and she likes to keep it down or up in braids. She wears lots of leggings and t-shirts since it's easier to move around in and allows her to comfortable kneeling in the garden.

Personality: She is very outspoken and not afraid to tell her opinion to others. She doesn't like when things go bad and prefers to not take many risks.

History: Her dad owned a farm in a small town and she loved to help him out and sell what they made at the market. Soon it was too dangerous for her since monsters would randomly attack her in the fields every few months.

Family: Just her dad and her

Crush/Bf/Gf: None yet

Strongest Skill: She is very good at thinking on the spot. She also is very good with plants, like one of the best in her cabin. She knows any plant by looking at it.

Weakest Skill: Some of her siblings have been able to talk to animals but she really is quite horrible at it. she also is not a good fighter, that's why she prefers long-range weapons and tactics.

Godly Parent: Hestia. A month before she was born Hestia had a dream where she was cooking and there was a child, the child who could not be more than five would not stop trying to taste the batter. Ember was born from the tears that Hestia shed, She put all of her want for a happy family into her cries, When the tears hit the flames from the hearth of the temple she was crying in. Hestia had been sobbing because the solstice had gone horribly and everyone was fighting and yelling, she just wanted everyone to get along nicely. Hestia treats her really well and is actually somewhat of a present mother. Visiting her periodically (max.12 times a year) but always out of the public eye. Like back in Canada they had a favourite campsite where they would see each other.

Powers/Skills: Good at mediating arguments and getting ppl to compromise, If she concentrates really hard can control the flames (She isn't super powerful with it, it's more of like a skill she has that she does for fun), unnaturally good cook.

Weapons?: She doesn't like confrontation, but if she has to she likes her celestial bronze frying pan as her weapon of choice. The reasoning behind this is when she came to camp she didn't have a weapon but there was a monster in her way, so she took out her celestial bronze frying pan (gift from Hestia) and killed the monster.

Looks: She has long brown hair that she always has up in a bun, kind dark chocolate eyes that sometimes look like they have flames flickering in them (like when someone is looking at a fire), pale complexion. She wears comfortable clothing (Hoodies are her fav, But she usually ends up with sweatpants and her CHB tee). She has glasses that compliment her small eyes. And her face is full of freckles. She has a scar on her shoulder from when an Ares kid's spear went rouge during capture the flag.

Personality: Ember is very family-oriented, like it goes so much as to be her fatal flaw. She loves to cook and likes to think that it helps bring people together. She's very outspoken but is always careful not to hurt others with her words.

Family: Her adoptive family lives in Canada, she has her dad Daniel. Her step-mom Callie is the best, and she has three step-siblings (Rya, Katie, Lila)

Pets?: A black cat that she named Flame

Years at camp: 2

Parent gifts: Hestia gave her on her 13th birthday a celestial bronze frying pan. It's just a pan, but it can sense what your cooking and adjust the heat it gives off for perfect cooking temperature.

Other: Ember was claimed her third night at camp (Even if she already knew she didn't want to make a big deal of it and kept it a secret), She was claimed while she was sitting at the hearth. The flames made the shape of a woman sitting next to the hearth and a glowing hearth appeared above her head.
Also, she is like the appointed chef of CHB, whenever there's a special occasion they whip up a feast for everyone even though they could just get food from the pavilion, the campers swear that her food is so much better.

Strongest Skill: Keeping people from fighting and bringing people together with food.

Weakest Skill: Anything to do with water, she doesn't know why but she can't stand water. Ember also has super high anxiety and tends to panic easily.

Favourite Pass-Time: She loves to hang out with her family by a roaring fire. Also loves to sneak into the big house and cook up a storm of cookies to de-stress (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
