What do you think are the perks of being a reader? Do you have any personal experiences where you being a reader has been useful? Tell us here!

Grace You learn a lot of random knowledge that you wouldn't know about otherwise. Some examples would be Irukandji jellyfish, Owen Glendower, Greek mythology, etc..

Tabby {Genie in a Novel} (genieinanovel) Definitely knowing things about other cultures you wouldn't know without reading or visiting that place. I also feel like you can get a good experience of a new place with reading too. How many of us have gone to Hogwarts over the years? Or Narnia? I personally feel like I've been to France, Ireland, and London just from reading.

@Genie in a Novel, I agree with you! We've visited so many places just by reading. Real or fictional, it's always fun to explore those places, and we readers do that right from our homes!

Sara Narro R. (bookishcookies_) For me personally, I´ve learned lots of things about the LGBTQ+ community, racism, and other topics that I think are important for people to normalize

Well you can immerse your self in a fictional world without staring at a screen constantly. Tho , Netflix, Youtube and TV are still fun to watch.
