I've wanted to learn to read the I Ching, but it looks so complex. So when I saw these cards, I knew I had to buy them. Done in a nice cardstock, with a gloss finish, the artwork on these is perfect. It's done in sepia toned Chinese-styled artwork that fits the theme perfectly. The guide book is just a little hard to follow. The meanings are written mostly in metaphors, with the final line actually giving the clear message. There's only a few lines in each of the 64 card meanings. Which at first disappointed me, but the I looked at the REAL I Ching meanings and they seem to be about the same in length and meaning. So, if you want a an easy way of reading the I Ching, appreciate Chinese artwork, or just want a nice deck, this is for you.
