Hi, So I just finished this amazing book (Love me louder by Christina Lee) and was looking for another when I encountered this issue I have every time Im looking for something to read. The writing format. Is it just me or lately every book out there is in first person? Im really curious about it.. I have a huge issue with those.. its really hard for me to read and relate to a first person.. am I the minority with this.. do people prefer first person over third?
I can read either. I have seen more that one reviewer complain that a book was written in first person, and I don't understand that at all. Some of my favorite books are written in first person.
1st POV is so intimate, but because of that it amplifies all the writing and logic flaws, so it really has to be done well for me to feel immersed in it. For that reason, I generally prefer reading 3rd POV, but I def give 1st an optimistic chance.
