That's probably why they added the bonus points of the songs. We can get up to 45 for artists and 30 for songs, in total. And they've been very picky with the tasks, not allowing too much diversion from the literal.

If they have a large part in the story yes, but generally i would say no.
I am concentrating on the mini challenge, the book series I am reading is suitable for 4 categories, I have read two and I will finish another one this weekend. If I have time, I will try to find more books for it

Just to clarify... a book used for mini challenge can also be used for an uno card? Two for one?
so... im trying to see if I can manage to use Heir of Fire as a 4 green. for it has only 3 characters with F
Faline and Fallon Blackbeak, witches from the thirteen, prominent as a group, but as individuals not so much. Fenrys, Fae, is literally in two scenes and mentioned in another, important but mostly mute (spends most of the time in animal form)
and then there's Fleetfoot, Puppy, loved, but not importan enough to be a determining factor in the plot...
I think those should be okay. We can mention both characters in the desc for the card.
I believe if you look at a book on a computer on the right of the page it lists the shelving per genre. The first listing is the MPG.

Ok, we keep Heir of Fire for the 4Green and I finished the 8Blue. I started a 4Red to fill our last WD4 cards, and that's it for the color cards, yay!5(I)'s and mini it's our main focus now. Good job everyone.

I think I have 1 answered. Take a look. I don't know how to add a note but one of the clues has to do with where the group performed the song.

Hey everyone.I know I've been very nonchalant about our status, but as of now with a week left to close March, we need to have finished at least 20 books between all of us. I think I can get up to maybe 4 more. There's 12 in the team, but 9 are really active. So I encourage you to go for shorter reads (but at least 100 pages, 3hrs long for audio). Mini is an issue but it's definitely more important to finish all our hands. If we can fit a book in the mini that's great.
Today I'll send our song guesses to Pixie. Fingers crossed for those extra points.
Two per active person and we can make it, no problem. Some teammates are doing great numbers so balancing out in the end we may not feel so constrained. Just let's not rest on our laurels :P.
If I keep up my pace I would be able to finish 4 books but it"s nice to know that 2 would be enough.

Veronica- just to clarify, you sent all our answers but the first one? And you are asking which first song we think is best? I see 4 choices but can't see a perfect fit. Can someone post in the songs spreadsheet why they think a particular song fits?

Can someone post in the son..."Yes, we can guess once each song, and after Pixie responds we can take another shot on each. So the 4 we got incorrect, 3 I already sent another guess. I only left the first one because I wasn't sure about the song. I add comments on each on the spreadsheet. I'll add the extra clues pixie sent too.
Ok I went in and voted again on the first one. . I can’t think of another song in the 80s by that band that would be relevant to the second clue.Good work on all of these song and artist guesses!!

That's right people! We got all the points :D. Great job everyone!I really don't want to be a party pooper but April cards are in and it's going to be a wild ride. But let's just enjoy what's left of a nice sailing through this month. I'm confident we'll still enjoy it because we've been a good team. My TBR list is insane and I'm always undecided on what to read and this game definitely has made it easier for me to pick and read... a lot. I hope your experience it's been as fun.

Fortunately I have 2 green books and a red book on deck for April which I have started so should be able to finish after the month starts. Right now I am reading a book about Eclipses and a book that takes place in Scandinavia for the March mini challenge.
We are 9 books away. I'm finishing two soon, one a 5 and a Skip.We have left:

Two 9's
We are doing pretty good in the mini. I don't think we'll be able to complete it but easily get above 30, which is great considering how complicated it was.
I have have finished one and started another book that could work for the rags to riches story i think. The girl is starting as a governess and becomes a duchess.
I am reading a book that could fill the 3, 6, 8 or 9 and a book that would fill a 6 or a 9. They both work for the mini challenge and I have put them in the log. I should get them done soon.

Everything looks fine. The remaining cards are mainly easy ones. Kaylee used Pixie Cards, granted to us because of a missing member that we could not get a replacement for. She used them to fill the most problematic ones, so that was great.
The color card that is missing and could be an issue is a 4Green. Also the 5's. I'm about to finish a book for 8Blue, and for a WD4 (a duplicated color card) I have one for 4Red, but if someone has something else it's fine. The ones that can be duplicated are

8Blue
Since most of the remaining cards are easier to find, we probably should focus a little bit more on the mini. Please check if you have something on your TBR list for it.
About the extra points for guessing the song/band. I think we should start to vote on the ones we want to submit to Pixie for review. We have one chance to correct them. Please check the Songs tab. I'll add a space on the right of each answer for you to vote with your initials. If you have another guess add it to the list and vote it.
