Hi, finished Silent on March 5th.
Updated it on the spreadsheet (used it for a 6 card). It's on my uno shelf.

Started reading Falling for the Ghost of You. It fits a 7 (violet) and 4 (title).

I finished The Survivors and it could have covered several categories but it had a 7 so I thought that would be the best place for it, even though it is a couple of hands away.

I finished The Chicken Sisters which fit a 6 Yellow so that's where I put it. I don't think I would recommend the book - seemed overlong, predictable and overly dramatic.

I am super busy at work this week, so I will try and finish two of my current books at the weekend

Hey everyone, everything looks great! I just finished a book for school and put it down as a WD4 to duplicate a yellow card. Remember (for later reference) that we can only duplicate each color card once for WD4 :)))

Elena, do you want to do a buddy read of the Secret History next week or the week after? I’ll be on spring break! (Wooo!)

Looking at Hand 4, we need a Draw 2, a 4, a Wild and a red 6. If I read a red 6 book that had a 4, could we use it for the Draw 2? I just started the Moonflower Murders which would cover those.

I’m working on finish a read it’s just taking me a little bit longer to finish.

March mini it's going to be a hoot.

We have to complete 15 Tasks, 3 books each. These books provide clues of a famous 80s Band-Song for extra points if guessed correctly.

We can send our guesses to Pixie once, to see how many we got right and one chance to correct them a few days before the end of the month. We can post here our guesses and decide which ones to submit. I think I got a few.

The mini starts in 4 days, so if you've just started a book it will count for the mini as long as it's finished after March 14. Please check the tasks, maybe you already have something that fits.

I just realized that all groups discussions are public. I don't know how competitive are you, but just in case some of you consider this to be for the better, I deleted my comments and added that info on our super secret totally inaccessible file (wink wink). If you don't want to remove you comments that's fine. If you have any more suggestions add them to the file ;)

I just deleted mine. Veronica- I don't see yours on the Mini Challenge Tab on our google sheets. I put my suggestions on that.

I added another tab. I thought once we decided which ones we are going to send then we copy them on the main sheet. Either way it's fine.

Here's an update.

Everything looks great. We've been able to hammer those 7's and 9's, but we are still short on the 5's. No pressure, we still have time, but if you have something on your shelf for that go for it.

@Felicity, I think you had something for a 6Red+4 combo, right? That will close Hand 4. There's another combo on Hand 6, a 2Red+0, for which I have something but I'm not sure, what do you think?



Do this qualify as half blue/half red? Is it enough red?

Please check the list for the mini, you can add something even if you haven't started it yet. There's a separate sheet with our guesses for the songs/bands, delve into your memories or if you are too young just ask the oldies in your family ;).

I am reading but it is slow going. I am suffering from too many holds coming into the library and everything sounding good so I keep starting books and getting bogged down in not continuing to read books I pick up.

Wow- I was just reconstructing measuring spreadsheets and just saw that 2 of our members left our team (Navi and Brittany.) And I would assume that Shikkha is gone too. Have the captain or co- captain heard if they will be replaced?

I just finished this, and I really enjoyed it. If you are looking for a light, funny, contemporary romance, I recommend it.

In retrospect, I maybe should have waited to use it for a yellow card!

I've been on call this week, and I swear I've never seen this many patients. I started Throne of Glass, and hope to be finishing that in the next couple of days.

It’s going.. thanks for asking. We’re just taking it a day at a time! Recovery from an eating disorder is complicated and non linear. It’s still a work in progress... but she’s alive so we’re just trying to give her lots of support and keep her in a good place.

@Alejandra It doesn't qualify :(. I run it through tineye and it's more grey, and I ask in a group and one of the Mods says it doesn't.

I am finishing the second book for the mini challenge today. I also started a science book about time travelling this month but it is a slow read and I will probably finish it at the end of March

Okay, I moved some things but everything is pretty much the same. I also added 5 pixie books to the spread in more difficult spots; took out some color card needs so thats good.

yeah no problem, I'm just starting it, and also looking around my library to see if I move things around too, of my choices. I think either way will work. I'll keep going.

Oooor...I have a 8 Blue too, and it's on the longer side so I'll switch to that. I have two reds (2 & 4) to fill the others WD4. I'm probably finishing one of them tomorrow.

Sorry to have slowed down so much with my reading this month. We just got back from a couple college visits which limited my reading, too. It looks like a book was found to fill my Red 2 so I will not worry about getting back to Moonflower Murders.
