For me a physical TBR is books that I own and still need to read. Just a regular TBR is books I want to read but don’t own.

Because she is transphobic, has tried to make her characters diverse when they clearly weren’t, the list goes on. Overall she’s a horrible person.

part of the article: She has since gone on to release personal essays about [trans people] as well as signing an open letter warning against “cancel culture” and published a thread of tweets about how “we’re on the brink of a medical scandal”, as well as comparing hormone therapy to gay conversion therapy.and that’s not all.
      Yeah :/

this is really stupid but : how do you get to booktube?I always watch commentary/criticism videos or music stuff, so I never get recommended book content.
@Lanae Anne you can search some other booktubers like Cari can read, Books with Chloe, Books with Leo, and NayaReadsandSmiles

You should get around to checking out these booktube channels ~ PersuseProject, the clockwork reader, withcindy, Avery Douglas ( a few of her videos have hauls & stuff), perfectpaperbacks, MelReads,
TinyOwnUniverse, Tianna Kelly, hope that helped!

how do you turn off notifications so you don't clog peoples feeds by marking like 100 books as read?

I'd recommend JessetheReader and polandbananasbooks
withcindy is awesome, definitely recommend her. Another of my go to booktubers is Haily in Bookland, who I love

Sarah Beth wrote: "what is a buddy read?? how do they work?"So you request to read a book with someone. One or more people may join you. Then you all start reading the book at the same time. Sometimes you have an assigned number of chapters or pages that you read per day or sometimes you go at your own pace. Whenever you want to discuss something you send it on the thread where your buddy read is going on. So that you can share your thoughts and others can give their opinions.
Idk if that made sense but I hope it helps!!
Buddy reads are when you read a book in a pair or group. So, you can request a buddy read or set it up through pms or something. You decide a start date and start reading (all of you) on that date. You can discuss books either on a thread in the group you want or through pms.

What is the difference between Dm and Pm? I have seen people use it on gr for such a long time for different meanings.

They could have just sticked to one it’s really confounding! Anyway Thank you for clearing my stupid question

This is a safe place to ask all those questions that you would otherwise feel extremely stupid asking. It can be a place to reference when someone says something you don't understand.
For example, I literally had no idea what ToG meant when I first joined goodreads. (it stands for Throne of Glass. The book series.) I didn't know that DNF meant either. (it stands for Did Not Finish)
Point is, ask away! Literally whatever you want. (unless it doesn't follow the group rules)
