fish imagine getting heated on other people's reading preferences and telling them to get some therapy as an insult
fish why can't we enjoy shit without being insulted by other people and being told what is right and wrong. I am aware of my ethics thank you but it's just my reading preferences?? I am not actually harming someone??? and I don't apply these preferences to real life people??? it just sucks to see readers being shamed for what they read

not everyone is gonna love or hate the same book, bc everyone has different views of what they read
and the book community doesn't get that

fish and you know what really sucks? just because you enjoyed reading this or that kind of genre ppl would automatically think that that's who you are as a person. they identify you as a whole based on your reading preferences and that's just fucking annoying. why can't we go back to the time where we just fucking read and scream together

fish storygraph is really boring, it just lets you track some books and make your reading journals and stuff. I use it as my reading diary where no one would judge me >;DD

fish @mary if you like tracking your progress and seeing your stats and stuff without interaction then u should def check it out skdbskdns I did not import my goodreads library in storygraph cuz I wanna start from the scratch

I don't basically hate the people but it just sucks to see them boast about it and made it very obvious that they did not make an effort
