So the first time he became a god, he was a great crown prince who was known for his generosity and talent.

He became qualified to be a god and got lifted to heaven. After a while, he broke some laws and got ‘fired’ ( as In became a fallen god).

So he then became a normal person to help his kingdom. After a time, he again got qualified to become god. This time, he himself fought a great god to purposefully get fired because he didn’t want to be god

So a lot of time, like a LOT of time passes. Then he again…got qualified ( this is some golden man here).

He became god for the third time. And that’s when the story starts.

Unfortunately, nobody remembers him now and he has no followers ( except one, you know who is that). The more worship = more power, but he has none.

So, he has to work hard to get ‘merits’ (god currency) without his powers.

From here the story becomes easy.

So, there’s bride who waited a lot for her groom but he never arrived (because he didn’t love her, also because she’s his enemy). She waited for a long time, and at last killed herself in vengeance.

Now, since she never got married, she doesn’t want other brides to get married too. So she kidnaps every bride from their carriage and kills them. After killing them, she drops them in the temple (which is hidden with her Magic). That temple was of the person she loved (as in the god of the temple), so she didn’t share it with anyone.

So, the mc xie lian was chosen for the case after many people failed. He pretended to be a bride to get ‘kidnapped’. But the butterfly guy helped him find the temple.

He found the temple and found the truth about the ghost bride.
He then figured out who the god is (the person she loved).

He informed the …god court about it and they then dealt with the bride.
