Joe Hempel (joehempel) | 200 comments Here's an odd question as I'm the one narrating and editing some books.

I like to keep all my audiobooks in one space (Audible, to be exact), and I was wondering if the narrators are entitled to have a copy of the book they narrated in their own Audible library, or if they have to have a "gift code" or something like that from the author.

Audiothing Not sure, but, most of the codes gifted to me are actually from narrators who are promoting the audiobook. So, of course, they'd have their own free codes to distribute in return for reviews.
I suppose it depends on your deal or contract. If you have nothing to do with promotions, a pretty please to the author maybe?

Joe Hempel (joehempel) | 200 comments Thanks, sorry for the late reply. I just got an email with codes and the book I narrated from just takes time to get the codes apparently!
