Olivia Cruz, the reporter, shows up at Sharp’s office looking for Morgan and offers information for access to her. What are your thoughts about her? Anything that might brew between these two?

[Robin]

At first I was suspicious of her. I wondered why she would come forward to give Morgan that information. Maybe she didn't want MacFarland getting off or maybe she just wanted Morgan to be in her debt for a future favor. When she came around the second time, I guessed she was on the level. Yes, I do think she and Sharp may get together in the future.

[Jonetta]

I was very suspicious of her at first meeting but she seemed to be on the level and useful as the story progressed. I still think she’s hiding something but it’s not a threat to Morgan or Lincoln.

There’s very definitely a vibe between her and Sharp. That should be interesting.

[Robin]

Maybe she has a good backstory that will produce another mystery.

[Jonetta]

I’m hoping so.

[Charlene]

I agree with all of the above; it seemed at the end that Sharp was more than slightly flustered by her, and she seems (perhaps) to be a more serious love interest than Eliza was.

[Lauren]

She's an interesting character, and I hope we see more of her.

On the surface, she does seem on the up and up, but time will tell.

I agree with Charlene that she is being set up as Sharp's love interest.

When Cruz first showed up my first thought was Oh No she is going to be trouble. Even though she gave good information to Morgan, I still felt like she was up to no good. It felt like she dangled a carrot but she was expecting something in return. As the story progressed, I wasn't as worried.

The chemistry with Sharp was there at the first meeting. It will be interesting to see if something happens in future books.
