For eight strangers in a Los Angeles backpacking hostel, even the other side of the world isn’t far enough.

The craving for a new identity and the chance to start again is something they have in common. But the search for a fresh start isn't as easy as they'd imagined.

Just finished Enemies so I’m going to try and get a few chapters in before bed tonight. I’ve read one or two other things by this author and I swear I’ve had this on my TBR for months now so I’m excited to finally dive in and see how much I enjoy it! Ch 8 (view spoiler)[Ok wow what a start. But I’m so glad she didn’t actually kill that innocent kid. Books are more handy than I thought, this one took a bullet and saved his life. Phew. I’m intrigued so far. Only one narrator thus far so we’ll see of that changes. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[Well I’m done and all I can say is damn. How the hell the author went through all that to take us here I have no idea. It really took until the end for me to grasp any of this. Everything was pretty shocking but none more than savannah. Damn if I didn’t really feel for that girl and want her to thrive. I didn’t suspect janey but I didn’t trust her either. When Michael came to her rescue omg I got soooooo thrilled until she pulled that gun on him. I legit yelled like wtf is going on 😂 I’m still devastated he betrayed her, like why?!?! I’m so glad she was able to see through him though. I kept hoping throughout she would be the one to somehow end up with Nicole’s money and she could run away and live her HEA. At the time I was suspect of pretty much everyone but her lol (I’m still surprised Nicole’s money never went missing or was commandeered after Tommy just left it in the ceiling tile.) Yet in the end turns out savannahleft with absolutely nothing and hopefully is finally free. What a crazy crazy read lol. The whole Tommy & jake thing, 😲😲😲, the mess with Joe and Peyk? It was so crazy and I really enjoyed it. It dragged and took for ever at times, there was so much buildup but I was taken by surprise that’s for sure. (hide spoiler)]
