The past couple of days I've had trouble finding what I want to read. I've started and stopped a number of options. Hopefully, I'll get past this soon and back to a normal reading pattern.

As for strategy, I'm flexible. I really like that pretty much any book counts for this challenge. Look forward to our update!

Aww! Staci, that's rough. I've totally been there many times. It's always great when you get two or three books read to crack out of the reading slump. I'm rooting for you. :)

I've got the two books finished to complete this board. Please hold all reviews until we get our next board. I'm posting one book now and will wait to see if we get another update in a few minutes.

Staci, how was Silver Dollar Duke by Sally Britton? She and I did NaNoWriMo together several years back, and I've been curious about her books ever since, but I haven't yet tried one.

I liked it Andrea! Earlier this year I read a novella by Sally Britton and I thought it was just ok.



I have a few books by the author on my Kindle, but she is new to me this year.

The Silver Dollar Duke had a unique hero and she did a nice job of painting the Arizona setting. I would definitely read other books by the author.

Finished another book while waiting on the library to confirm some holds for me. I really hope those come through in the next few minutes, because they close at 6:00 (an hour from now) and it takes a half hour to get there. Otherwise, I'll have to wait until tomorrow. I really want to watch one of the movies and start one of the books tonight. xD

My items didn't show up. Maybe tomorrow.

So we've gotten another couple of hits. We now know the one ship is vertical. Let's try E5 and E8 to see which way it continues.

Staci, what's your plan of attack on the ship at I4?

I'll test the direction for the ship at H9 with my next couple of books.

Checking in, team. How's everyone's reading coming along? Is anyone able to pick up the pace a wee bit? Team two is right on our heels again.

I'm trying to finish an audio a day this week. We'll see how that goes. I also have a few paperback review books jabbing at me, so I will have to turn off the audios to read those.

Hi. I have a book finished I still need to post and busy with an audio. My physical reading pace has slowed a bit though - extremely busy at work and so tired at night, I pass out earlier, or if I don't pass out, I need to work a bit...

That's understandable, Sarita. Don't sweat it.

I really just wanted to check in and see if there were any adjustments we could make. If not, that's completely fine, of course. :)

I'm just glad we're all having fun and (hopefully) discovering some great books.

Yeah! Hope to up my speed on audio books next week. I just have a full day of interviews I need to do on Tuesday. The past week was also interviews and a lot of phone calls/meetings with managers to get our figures finalised.
