Type Me!

1. Good characters. Always the characters. I especially love elaborate backstories and character arcs. Diversity and representation is really important to me as well.
2. I don't know how to answer this. I'd like to say I'd try to save the boss, but in all honesty, I think I'd try to get out of there as fast as I could.
3. I don't really talk to people about stress unless it's really bad, but when I do, I always prefer emotional support.
4. I have no idea; I'm not very philosophical. This is too deep for me. I'd like to think there's a point to life, though.
5. It depends. Some things are always right or wrong, but other things depend on context and perspective.
6. I actually have strong opinions about this; animal rights are one of my main interests. I believe wholeheartedly that all animals are equal. So, false.

1. One thing above all? I don't think I'd be able to pick. For me, the books that take a place in my nonexistent heart are the ones that are good overall. The ones where you can find a meaning behind it all, or the ones where everything is so well-developed, not just the characters but also the world they're in, the things they do, the plot. Otherwise, lots of action, or if it makes me cry, because that never happens lol.
2. I'm going to be honest here, as much I say "i want to die" or "i wish i was dead", I'd really rather not be axe-murdered, thank you very much. I mean, as much as I'd like to think that I'd go back for my boss, let's be real here, I'm going to be looking out for my own safety first, and then anyone else. I'd probably figure out a way to either get into the airways/vents/air conditioning system and either make my way to my boss and rescue them, or try to safe.
3.
4. I feel like I could be either an existentialist or nihilist at different times of the day. Sometimes I get into a nihilistic streak because in the end, everything we do really is all for naught. We are incomprehensibly small in the grand scope of things, microscopic specs in a world so large we can't even imagine it. On the other hand, however, no matter how small we are, and how pointless our individual lives are on the scale of the universe, can't bringing even the hint of meaning into someone else's life be worth it? Even for a single moment?
5. While what I think is right or wrong might be different than what someone else thinks, it's still interesting to see the logic behind those arguments. The logic might be flawed but it's interesting to see how they've justified it to themselves. That being said, there are some things that just are wrong, regardless of what people might be able to justify, or explain away.

2. UH here is what I'd do: I would regret not saving my boss for the rest of my life but in the second that I have to decide to save them or not I would decide to ditch them. If they are my boss they should be able to get out of that situation with their "superior" brain cells. I would probably jump to the next building, crash through the windows, and SUE for hella money so I never have to work again.
3. This is hitting close to home because I am stressed 24/7. If I am stressed, more than I usually am, I usually lay on my bed dying on the inside scrolling on my phone. I sometimes say that I am feeling bad but that is the extent of looking for emotional support. I do have a therapist but usually, I bury my feelings in books and have a hole in my chest. :)
4. That is a great question that I think about constantly. I have a feeling that human beings don't have enough brain cells to figure out their own existence and so I have slightly wilted in my process of trying to figure out why I am here. UH well I didn't know about either nihilism or existentialism until now but usually I don't think about it too much because I will become sad. I think our legacy is going to be: They destroyed the earth, locked away all but 2 brain cells and thought they were superior to all, but really they were all idiots. (too pessimistic?? probably, but I think this may be our legacy if we don't switch up real quick).
5. False (have you seen trump the rump?)
6. False??? I think that all animals are different and are treated differently (by humans). Like you treat your cat way differently than the pig you eat for breakfast..

1. My ideal book is something that's going to make me feel good, or a book that's interesting and makes me think. I love reading books that are about LGBT characters to make me feel represented, and I love representation in general even though I can barely find any books that have rep for my race.
2. Honestly? I'd probably end up NOT saving my boss out of fear, but I wish I had saved my boss because I'm going to feel that guilt for a very long time. I would like to think that I saved my boss because it would 1) save them and 2) clear my conciense.
3. I try to look for both, but usually that doesn't work. Honestly, it feels so amazing to have emotional support but I don't have the resources for that right now. So my best option is to seek practical advice.
4. I believe in existentialism.
5. True.

1. When I’m reading I tend to look for an entertaining and suspenseful plot, engaging writing that’s not going to bore me to death, and well-developed characters with flaws and struggles that make me sympathise with them.
2. If I already knew a mass murderer had entered the building, then it’s possible the boss would know too, and they may have escaped already or remained hidden without needing assistance. Regardless of that, I’d probably focus on staying alive and escaping on my own, since this is a mass murderer we’re talking about and I don’t want to endanger myself in a seemingly hopeless situation as selfish as that sounds. Basically it’s every man for himself.
3. Practical help, I’m reluctant to open up to people on how I really feel and often deal with stress alone, but if I do seek help I’d prefer the advice on tackling the issue.
4. I’d like to believe that there is deeper meaning to life and we all have a purpose, but at the same time we’re so insignificant and small in the universe and once humanity is extinct everything we did is likely to be forgotten and meaningless. But I guess we should make the most out of it, and I just keep telling myself that there’s no point dwelling on things beyond our control and understanding.
5. True. I think “good” and “bad” are really just a matter of perspective, and we don’t always know the motives and factors behind a person’s actions. “Good” and “bad” are just loose terms to describe our behaviour, meaning our conclusions of “good” and “bad” are drawn upon our own individual and preconceived judgements of “good” and “bad.”
6. True. Based on the principle of survival of the fittest, certain animals are bound to thrive better than others depending on the environment they reside in and other factors, so I don’t believe there’s complete equality among all animals.
