There were quite a few characters who made viable suspects. Who topped your list and why? Was there ever a time that you started to give Duncan a hard look? If so, when was it?

My number one suspect was Curtis Grant, the guy who was hanging out at Westerly and working on their security. He just seemed to be hanging around too much. I thought he would know how to get onto the grounds to dump a body without being seen.

Others on my suspect list were Duncan and Darren Jones. We didn't know much about Duncan except what he told us about Isobel. I thought it was a little daring for him to show up and say she was his girlfriend if it wasn't true. What if she woke up and actually remembered what happened? Darren was the security guard at Westerly. When he found Isobel's body, I thought he may have tried to kill her and thought she was dead, so he would report her body and maybe be discounted by Kim as a suspect. When he showed up at the hospital trying to get into Isobel's room, I wasn't sure what that was about at all.

I agree Robin. I had the exact same thought about Curtis Grant. He seemed to be hanging around... a lot. I'm sure the author did that on purpose to throw us readers off the scent of who really was behind it all at Westerly.

I was suspicious of Curtis Grant, too, and he was tied with Darren on my suspect list. However, I always was wary of Duncan. He and Isobel had only been dating two months, surreptitiously because she was “married.” When he started talking about her love for pink pajamas, how she preferred her toast and she liked being called Izzy, I didn’t believe him. He’d never been to her place but knew about her pajamas? He moved up on my list but then Darren tried to push his way into her room and I fell down that rabbit hole.

Turns out we had good reason to not trust Curtis and Darren, just not for this crime.

Good catch on the pink pajamas, Jonetta. I didn't pick up on him knowing about her pajamas, but he'd never actually been to her place.

I completely missed the pajamas. That was a great clue. If I read this one I would have caught it. Sometimes when I listen the clues flow by.

I was so sure it was Curtis that I knew I was wrong. I didn't have a viable suspect until the end.
