Just finished Peach Blossom Spring which I really loved! The writing style took me a few pages to get into but I quickly inhaled this book reading it in just three short sittings. The comparisons to Pachinko were spot on and I grew equally attached to each generation of characters here. An emotional read for sure.
Finished The Golden Couple
by Greer Hendricks & Sarah PekkanenMy Review:

Just finished Fiona and Jane and One Italian Summer this weekend. Cracking the Book of Cold Cases open next! Really working on catching up on all my BOTM books… I’ve got a dozen or so to go…
I finished

"How as the Paris Apartment? I read Guest List and it was so great. How does this one compare?
The Paris Apartment was good but a little bit of a slow burn. I loved it but I read it with a few others and most of them just liked it. I loved Guest List too!
Nancy wrote: "You Made A Fool Of Death With Your Beauty, by Akwaeke Emezi"oooh I have that one too! I hope you love it!
finished both
(4 stars - great read!) and
(2.5 stars rounded up)now to read
I'm going to really try to start getting through this pile of BOTM books I have! lol

I'm thinking of waiting to just check it out in the library. I really did love the guest list though. It came together to well! How did you like Reckless girls?
I loved Reckless Girls - it was that perfect island mystery I needed when I grabbed it! lolDid you read that one as well? I think I've liked all the adult books from this author. It was just her YA stuff I didn't love!

I did read Reckless Girls and truthfully I was not a fan. It had so much potential and I really saw it going differently, but I was ultimately let down. I haven't read her other things, but I did recently get The Wife Upstairs, so I'm hoping this one might bet better.
Currently reading Little Secrets.. I usually shy away from thrillers that have kids in the plotline, but it's been so highly recommended that I had to try.
