catluver (stormvis07) | 7 comments It is set in a scifi/fantasy world, restricted magic, and definitely a good mix of urban fantasy and cyberpunk vibes. For the main world, where my character starts, The Sins is a game of redemption for criminals--an established "death penalty" but the candidate remains alive.

It contains LGBTQ characters, romance (enemies to lovers), sexual content, POC, redemption arcs, mental illness overcomings, life lessons/themes, and a troubled, relentless villain.

Seven Levels. Seven Worlds. Seven Sins.

Here is the proper summary:

In a futuristic world, Violet has had enough of the ruthless gangs and unforgiving military rule in her country, Veceras. Having grown up in the dusty and scorching city of Calesal, Violet has done terrible things to keep her remaining family alive. After her brother was sent into Venari au Sins, The Hunt of Sins, a game of multi-dimension worlds cursed by one of the infamous seven deadly sins, Violet struggled for two years with abandonment, violence, and lust.

By searing fate, Violet is blood-sworn into the game. An exile. Because in over two-hundred years the Sins has been active, not one candidate has ever returned. With a future full of seven different worlds cursed by Sin, vicious criminals as her enemies, and the yearning commitment to reunite with her brother, Violet Sutton is in a skiv-ton of trouble.

I appreciate any kind of feedback. I have been writing this for over 3 years. I'm finished my first draft but I need guidance on content editing before I begin to re-write it all. 150K is a lot (about 323 docx pages), so I'm aware it's heavy. I hope it is interesting enough that you won't notice the word count lol.

I'm happy to swap for drafts within the same genres, and or romance! I love reading romance.

Trinity (trinsbeez) Hello! I have a 125k YA Contemporary Fantasy (LGBT Romance) manuscript myself and I think I'd be interested in swapping. You're story sounds interesting and though I haven't swapped before I'm willing to give it a try.

I've dropped my synopsis below and if you're up for it just let me know!

Synopsis:
Seventeen-year-old Ethan Palmer has no future, no reason to keep going. He’s struggling to exist in a world that doesn’t seem to want him in it and there’s a cliffside in Whitefish with his name on it. He doesn’t think it’s his therapist's fault she can’t fix him or decode his metaphors mainly because he doesn’t believe he’ll be here long enough for it to matter.
And maybe he wouldn’t if he hadn’t had a run-in with a boy named Fox who has never told a lie in his life and a girl, a strange girl, with hellish innocence he can’t quite put his finger on. Ethan soon realizes that there is a darker evil wreaking havoc through town, playing with the lives of his friends and family. The forest holds arcane secrets and the future he didn’t think he had takes place in a world where even immortal fae have something to run from. There’s a deadly ancient storm brewing over Whitefish and everyone is taking cover. He least expects Fox to tie himself to him, to find friendship in a strange inhuman boy—boundary issues and all—as he lay trapped between an otherworldly fight and the afflictions of his own mind.
