I’m curious to see which way this is going to go when they find the men eventually. Are they going to prosecute (although would it be too late and using what evidence?) or is Talon going to kill them?

Prologue - Chapter 8

I know that Talon is dealing with his own issues, but his reaction didn't make sense. He could have still met up with her some times (he wasn't in therapy sessions 24/7) and not just ditch her throughout the whole situation with her mother.

I was waiting for Talon to meet Nico, but the tattoo was covered up! How long is this going to be dragged out for?

Talon not remembering exactly how he managed to return home is interesting. One of the kidnappers had to have helped him, but why?

Larry was one of the kidnappers, but what evidence did they have to put him in prison? I don’t think anything was mentioned about Talon’s case and I don’t think finding Colin’s wallet on him counts for much.

Even though Larry won’t give up the other two, the epilogue gave the answer for the third guy’s identity. Would that be another thing that’s dragged out because Jonah and Talon won’t talk about the birth mark?

The rose does make me curious about who put it there and why, but I’m definitely not continuing with the rest of the books.

Talon is a hot mess. I'm also not sure I buy the whole "I love you" they both think. They've had sex but neither have discussed anything about love or feelings. And Talon isn't sure, but he thinks this is what he's feeling. He's 35. I know he has trauma but I'm not buying it. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 27-end => (view spoiler)[ I find this writing to be really chopping. It's hard to explain but I'm reading along and then a sentence comes a long that makes me cringe. I'm not sure if she's just trying to hard or what, but damn this is rough.

Clearly Jade's mothers boyfriend with the Phoenix tattoo is one of the culprits. And now we know that the DA, missing a toe, is another one.

Chapters 1-8 => (view spoiler)[I'm guessing that Jade's mom said Nic's name because he tried to kill her. I think Nic found out from the tattoo guy or maybe Wade that Talon was asking questions and that was when he decided to get rid of Jade's mom.

Although, I'm not sure what that would help, but I find most of the stuff in this book over the top and ridiculous so I'm no shocked, lol.

I also find these sessions that Talon has with his psychiatrist to be ridiculous. She says something and Talon is like 'oh yeah, why didn't i think of that'...ugh.

Maybe it's the audio that's making these characters come across as being overly stupid and the writing to be not very good. I cringe at a lot of the sentences and how they are saying them. (hide spoiler)]

End of chapter 11 (view spoiler)[ I wonder if Larry is dead… It’s also absurd the amount of money she’s making… or not making. Unless it wasn’t a full time position. I remember thinking when he hired her that he was lowballing her but probably hiring her as more of a legal assistant. My husband works for our local government and civil servants don’t make a ton of money but the county attorneys office employees do make decent money. Anyway, so far there hasn’t been a single thing in all three books that’s made any sense. It’s not just bad writing, nothing makes sense. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 9-16 => (view spoiler)[I really don't understand why Talon won't just tell Jade. Seriously, he told his sister, who is best friends with Jade. I don't get the secrecy of all of this. It can't just be that he's ashamed or whatever the hell this author is trying to get this to be.

Somehow this is all going to be tied together. It's no coincidence that Colin and Larry are missing. I'm not sure why he would've been taken, but it all has to tie.

So Nico, Larry and some guy unknown right now, were abducting boys and raping them and then killing them. Clearly there was a ransom for Talon in the amount of 5 million.

We also know that Larry is somehow related to Talon's mom because the last names were changed on her one certificate, so it would make sense that Larry would know Talon's mom has money. He clearly has issues with that family because he was wanting Jade to research them. But I think this was to frame Talon for something, since he was clearly one of his attackers.

Could they have taken Colin? Planning another ransom because we know he comes from a rich family? Or they are trying to frame Talon with it because he obviously went missing after the confrontation?

Also, I think the reporter has something to do with all of this somehow. I'm not sure what just yet, but something... (hide spoiler)]

Also, can I just say that (view spoiler)[the sex scenes in this series are atrocious!??!?!?!?!? God they are awful and cringy. Jade is supposed to be this strong woman who won't allow anyone to tell them what to do, but yet she just rolls over for Talon when he's an ass.

I know that she's trying to go for the alpha male thing, but she is failing at this with Talon. His bossiness is not coming across the way I think she wanted it to. (hide spoiler)]

And why in the hell is Talon not freaking talking to Jad about this?!?!??! Of course she's the one that finds these people, and then Talon gets mad because she isn't telling him, but why on earth would she????

Here's a thought, maybe you should communicate and then once she found something out she would know to tell you because, well, you've told her about the people that abused you. Shocker!!

I guess the birthmark is supposed to at least give us that much since she’s drawing it out to next brother’s book. I finished it last night but was so aggravated I didn’t even want to talk about it. I feel so ripped off by her not finishing Talon’s story. I’m not reading the rest of the books though. I just can’t suffer through more of them. There’s a lady’s reviews I’ve read along the way (she hates the books but is reading with a friend who loves them. Bless her heart is all I can say to that. 😂 Anyway, according to her Jonah and Melanie are just as bad if not worse than Talon and Jade. After reading the review I decided I just can’t. I didn't know this thread was still alive and just finished Craving. i did not like this book and rolled my eyes several times but i still finished it in like a day 🤷🏻‍♀️ so it wasn't all bad. i'm gonna read the next one lol.

Chapters 1-8 => (view spoiler)[ Ok, this is still bad. I swear this author thinks that the more sex in a book, the better, and completely misses the mark on actually throwing in some chemistry between the characters.

Chapters 9-17 => (view spoiler)[I think this author loves to write characters that are less than smart. Now we find out that Melanie was advised by her lawyer when her patient passed away that she shouldn't contact her parents, but a year later, Melanie has the bright idea to call them and hang up. Of course, they call back, and then the next day the dad shows up and says my wife is in the hospital for trying to kill herself.

But what really pushed me over was when the mom tells Melanie it's her fault that her daughter is dead. After leaving the room the nurse says it wasn't her fault and they all lose patients and she understands, to which Melanie thinks to herself that the Nurse doesn't understand because she's a doctor, lol. Then she leaves and has sex with Jonah 6 times over 3 hours. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 18-end => (view spoiler)[ I'm not sure what to say after this. I feel like we should be further along with the Talon kidnapping then we are. I feel like this author is just adding things in to drag it out, but it's not working for me.

I also don't really buy into this relationship with Jonah and Melanie. Just having sex every which way from Sunday doesn't make a relationship. Just wanting to lick her 'red nipples' (gah...we got it already), doesn't make for chemistry. (hide spoiler)]
