2. The Daughters of Foxcote Manor

So glad to feel like I'm over the dry spell that hit after Thanksgiving. Many highly anticipated reads on my list that give me hope the good streak will continue!

15. Live and Let Chai
A really solid cozy mystery where the dialogue felt authentic and the characters are endearing and likeable. Light on the mystery but definitely getting the next in the series soon. Sadly, I abandoned The House in the Cerulean Sea
after 2 weeks. It was a nice read but just wasn't what I was in the mood for, I guess, and I wanted to move on. May come back to it later.

The Madness of Crowds
I've been in and out of this one for the past 2 weeks, which is so unusual for me and Louise Penny. I'm thinking it has something to do with the subject matter (post pandemic, etc), so I may come back to it another time. Picking up either Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia
or This is Your Mind on Plants
, but hoping for a good, immersive fiction read soon!
35. Be Careful What You Witch For
Moving at a snails pace the last 3 months. I definitely won't be meeting my goal this year but I read some great books this year and can hopefully squeeze in another or 2 before the end. :D
