Governmental and ability of the different races and such (what I should pay more attention to I mean, it usually proves beneficial, or at least makes you appear more knowledgeably;) )

Yeah. I can't figure out Daican's politics or how it works and that really bothers me... I can't see what his motives are, which is really bad for a villain.

I have a theory growing in my brain that his dad kinda pushed him that way and I mean he could be trying to be like his dad and his dad kinda, uh, I guess the word I'm fishing for is brainwashed him into thinking Aertus and Vilye(idk if I spelled that right:() are the only way to power and respect and it made him a crazy guy *gasp* oooooorrrrrrr a person that didn't believe in Aertus and Vilye could have killed his dad causing an utter hatred for any believer and causing him to kill them!!!!!!! Wow Daican is a hard guy to figure out:I well that arena was built as a monument to his father.

@Hannah: I just don't know. But maybe it's supposed to be confusing and then the real story behind it will pop out in a later book and go "Surprise! Didn't see that commeing did you?"I WENT TO THE ZOO!!! Otters and tigers are the BEST!
Well hopefully the release date comes soon for Samara's Peril then at least we can learn a little moreOh one time when we went to a zoo there was thus parrot and when we went to moved on it yelled COME BACK! It was so cute;)
Hannah, I highly approve of your second theory. :) It sounds very realistic as to why he is the way he is. And it makes sense because in real life Satan uses our weaknesses to further his advantage.

Hanna Your second theory is amazing. I totally feel like that could happen! and to the second Hannah (this is getting confusing)That is so true how satan can use our grief to build up hatred for others.
This is my first time posting on this group, and I think I'm going to love doing it more! I love y'alls laidback style(:
Welcome, Madelyn! Yes, all these Ilyon people are so laid back and amazing. You'll find some really good friends here!Have you read the Ilyon books yet?
Thank you! Yes I have read all of them, and absolutely love them. I'm rereading half blood for a second time now, actually. I can't wait for samaras peril!

Awesome! Which one is your favorite? My favorite is TKS. And yeah, Samara's Peril is going to be amazing!

Hmmm... That's super hard. I think I'd have to say TKS. If half blood would have been longer maybe it would be, but as of now, I'm siding with the Kings scrolls(:

Welcome, Madelyn! So glad you joined us. :) I'm not sure which my favorite is. Possibly Resistance, although there were parts of TKS that made me squeal with joy, so... ;)

Welcome Madelyn!!I'm so torn over which book is my favorite... Jace is so much more epic and dark in Resistance, and there were the Robbin Hood moments. But The King's Scrolls has dragons and cretes and Aaron, but you-know-what happened, so I feel like I can't say TKS is my favorite... I don't know! I love them both, but TKS had a Problem, so I guess I'd have to say Resistance... Oh never mind they're both awesome!
TKS is definitely my favorite!!!! At first I got annoying with Timothy (Is that even the right name??)Point of view but quickly got used to it!

It is hard to decide, but I think that Resistance is still better. Even if it is by a teeny tiny bit. :P

I just recommended Ilyon to Cait @ paperfury.com. Hehehehe. I think she wants to read them, seeing that all the NA she's read is terrible. So, if she reads the books, and reviews/recommends them on her blog...
It stands to reason that a few more thousand people will hear about them.
And perhaps buy them.
I've recommended Ilyon to Cait a few times, and I talk about them occasionally (as in, whenever it's applicable - favorite author, autobuy author, books I just can't get enough of, you know) when I comment on her blog and it's applicable. But yes, she needs to read them, because I really think she'll like them. And she has a HUGE influence in the writing comunity.

YES! Why didn't I think of that? Keep recommending! And the next time I comment over there, I'll find some way to work it in, haha. It's a secret conspiracy.

Huh? I follow Cait's blog but... why would we have to terminate the comments? Btw, y'all, I finally joined the Jaye L. Knight Forum thing!
Just so it doesn't souls like an actual conspiracy. ;PYay! Haha, I joined too, a while ago, but I haven't been on in forever. Too hard to keep up with for my schedule. Oops.
      HEY GUYSI got a new
Thank you, Jaye, for enabling the Kindle loan feature. Just got a friend (in real life, even!) to read Resistance and she loved it! *does a happy dance and squeals*
That's awesome Amanda-in-blue!! :D (Random, but how many 1999 kids do we have in here? :D Because for being New Adult books I think most of us are under 18, and I see a lot of fellow 1999 girls on here. :P)
