Oh no! That's awful. I'm so sorry! Praying for you. May a God give you Himself more and more as your peace, rest, and life.

Aww! I will definitely be praying!! I remember when I lost one of my cats a few years ago. It was terrible. And I lost my dog two years ago. She was so sweet, there's never going to be another dog like her ever.I'll make sure to be praying, and if it's okay with you, I'll mention you (not your name) during our congregation prayer during church on Sunday.
I'll definitely be praying for you, Jaye! Loosing pets are always difficult, and deciding on the future can be quite frustrating. :(
OH MY! That's horrible! :-( I loved seeing all those kittens on Facebook. I'll be praying. And future decisions, those are terribly stressful! May God give you wisdom and peace!
I hate for this to be the next thing on here...but friends of my family just launched a campaign to send Frosty Towels to the troops. It's a great product and a worthy cause. Our troops are willing to sacrifice everything for us. It's the least we can do to help them stay cool. Help Frosty Towel help our troops.https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/to...

I'm jealous :P I still have to deal with braces. And no caramel and apples... *moans theatrically*
Psh, I broke all the rules except gum because I was scared and popcorn because I don't really like popcorn anyway XD
I get you. Yeah, I eat pretty much the same foods as before. Apples and other hard fruit I cut up but the rest I eat. I don't like gum so that's never been a problem.

WOOHOO!!! Parttaaayyyyy!!!!!!! *inserts fun emojis cuz idk how many of you can receive emojis or not oh well* XD
ALSO I HAVE EXTRAORDINARY NEWS!!!! So there's this choir that I wanted to be in this year but I missed the auditions because of my collapsed lung (Canto Voce). They sing music at a college level and it's so good! It's at my school and run by the same choir teacher (we only have one) and he's like my favorite teacher. I was disappointed I didn't have the chance to audition. (They're performing at CARNEGIE HALL this year in NEW YORK CITY and will see like 3 BROADWAY shows!!!!!!!!) I unfortunately had to drop choir all together because I'm taking the college credit psychology. I couldn't put sociology in my schedule this year to switch cuz it was full. So I said I'd just keep all the notes from psych and keep them for college (since that's my minor).
But here's the catch now.
I have to change my entire schedule ANYWAY because my choir teacher (Mr. Oxley) PERSONALLY called my mom (around 9:45 yesterday ((Friday)) morning) and asked her if I would be interested in joining Canto without audition! Someone dropped out of Canto (they probably moved) and he said I was next on his list to go to NYC and be in canto. WELL. He noticed I didn't have a choir at all this year and he wants me to so bad and if I can possibly change my schedule (if I want, which I am!) I heard him tell my mom he wants me in choir, he said I deserve this, AND he said I'm good and would've gotten into canto had I auditioned.
SO. My mom called my dad and talked to him, and he on board right away with it! He LOVES Mr. Oxley. Mr. Oxley is probably my dad's favorite teacher at the school!
Also, Luckily for us, we don't have to pay the down payment for NYC and another payment because of the other person who dropped out and decided to let the money go to whoever would be going. He said Canto funds would help us pay for the September payment of $500. And there's another payment in November and the last one in January. Then all I'd need is money to buy food and all that. The trip costs about $1,800 but they're trying to get it down to $1,500 once they buy the tickets.
SO NEEDLESS TO SAY I UNEXPECTEDLY JOINED THE DREAM CHOIR OF MINE AT SCHOOL AND WILL PERFORM IN CARNEGIE HALL. It's always been a dream to see a show at Carnegie but now I get to PERFORM and see the other choirs there (from all around the world!)
Wow, A'laura! I'm so happy for you :) It sounds like a dream come true and I'm excited that God decided to bless you this way! Enjoy every moment.
Hey ya'll, I thought you might be interested in checking out a podcast interview\review my sister and I did with Jaye. Here's the link if you guys are interested:http://our-favorite-things.weebly.com...
Hope this isn't spam or self-promotion. :) My sister and I had a blast chatting about Ilyon Chronicles, and had so much fun talking with Jaye!

Happy birthday Jaye! I hope you had\have a amazingly wonderful day! May God bless you and all that you do richly!
HAPPY (late) BIRTHDAY JAYE!!!! May God bless you and give you a joyful year! Thanks for writing the Ilyon books and starting this fun group! :)
I got my driver's permit the other day! :D Today was the first time I actually drove to the store! ... and passed through an intersection. I was kind of proud of myself. ;P

Congrats, Tashawna! It took me a LONG time, many years actually, before I was comfortable driving at all. I should have done it more in the beginning. The more you do it, the easier it really does get.
So, anyway, I've decided to do NaNoWriMo for the first time ever! AHHH! I think I'm a little bit crazy, but I'm also excited because I'm going to work on a brand new story--a contemporary romance. I am SO out of my comfort zone. :P But the story is demanding I write it RIGHT NOW. Lol!

OH MY GOODNESS JAYE IS DOING NANO! :D Welcome to the madness. ;) May we be buddies? What's your username? :D (And it's fun writing out of one's comfort zone from time to time. I'm doing sci-fi which I haven't done before!)

Don't worry, I'll still be editing Exiles as much as possible and then get back to writing the last book as soon as November is over. :)

Ooh NaNo! How exciting! I'm always getting new ideas and it's so frustrating sometimes when I can never manage to finish one project. But this year I'm hoping NaNo will help me with that. Could I buddify you, Jaye? ;DAnyone else excited for NaNo this year?
Thanks, Jaye! @Hannah: I'm always getting new ideas tooo. *flails* I hope NaNo will help you! But yes, I'm excited for NaNo! This'll be my 7th. XD I need to plot my novel though. O_O I'm also extra busy because I'm the ML for my region so I'm organizing events and stuff.
FYI, if any of you get a chance to go to a write-in or other local NaNo event, do so! They're loads of fun! :)
I want to do NaNo because I have so many good ideas! But I can't figure out how to get it all down!! It's awful!!! And the worst thing is, I have so much trouble going off storyboards and webs. I can't do them for some reason.
Everybody is talking about NaNo, and I feel like I am the only one not doing it, haha. Even my sisters are doing it. ;)
I'm doing it for the first time this November too. And in the middle of my senior year. Probably a Really Bad Idea. But, something unfortunate about me is, almost all my ideas are really bad, and I try anyway. I'm just over-excited to try it and refuse to put it off until after I graduate. I'm doing that with evey single fun thing in my life and becoming a dull boy as a result. No more!

Thank you! Yea, since I drove to the store now, I think I feel more confident. :) I kept hitting the rubble strips, though. Need to work on that. :P
That is so exciting that you're doing NaNo and writing a new story! =D
Sarah Grace wrote: "Everybody is talking about NaNo, and I feel like I am the only one not doing it, haha. Even my sisters are doing it. ;)"HORAY SOMEONE ELSE IS NOT DOING NANO!!!! I thought I was all alone. ;-) I can't do it this year for a number of reasons. Makes me sad, but at the same time, I'm glad. It will be good for me to take a (relatively) quiet month. ;-) Do you have any non- nanoish plans for November?

Sure! Anyone who wants to add me as a buddy can. :) Again, my username is JayeLKnight
