I don't know a lot about Tom Hiddleston, but he seems like a neat guy. I'm NOT a Loki lover, though. He killed 80 people in 2 days. I don't care if he was misunderstood as a child. That's no excuse.
I love Loki!!! The tessaract staff was controlling him. You can tell at the end, and in Thor 2, he never really meant it. I will protect my Loki to the end! XDAlso there's 3 bluebirds outside of my window. I guess I'm a Disney princess now guys.
I still don't like him. I'll never be convinced. Disney princesses are the best! Just don't agree to marry a man you just met that day. ;) I actually talked to a guy a little bit ago at the library who had never heard of Frozen! How is that even possible?
I'm a Captain America kind of girl. Loki just doesn't fit into that equation. :)
Haha!! I love Frozen and all but... Here's a rant about Frozen vs Big Hero 6 and how more people love Frozen than BH6:
BH6: *multiple female characters with very different personalities*
Media: FROZEN!
BH6: *shows depression in legitimate form while still being understandable to kids*
Media: FrOzEn is the best movie of all the centuries!!
BH6: *has no romantic subplots*

I've actually seen most of Frozen. Several times at the dentist, and some while visiting some friends. I can see some funny parallels between it and the story I'm writing. But everything is mixed around. Like if you swap half of Elsa and Anna's traits around. And add Tangled as well as Pride and Prejudice.
I love love love LOVE Pride and Prejudice!!! We have to read that for our summer reading for AP Lit this year and I already know it so it'll be a breeze!
I have great and surprising news to tell y'all!I was helping with Antigo Youth Theatre this summer and we just had our performance (which, by the way, was actually really, really good considering the ages of the stage actors) and afterward, it's a theatre tradition (for high school, community, and youth) to give a gift to the director(s) and the major staff.
Well, a new friend and me were not expecting what happened.
The lead director called this new friend and me assistant directors who worked backstage to keep the kids quiet, worked on costumes, played games, and helped set up everything. They even got us little gifts as well!
When they called our names we looked at each other from the wings and awkwardly walked onto the stage. It shouldn't have been awkward because I'm in theatre and she's been in many plays with the youth theatre.
I just thought it was touching that the directors would put something like that together just for two high school students who love theatre and decided to help out a little bit.
Sorry if there's any grammar or spelling errors in that, I didn't proofread it before I posted it! XD
I saw the 1st Brigade Civil War Band this afternoon and lemme just say, WOW. They wore period costumes, played ACTUAL 1800s instruments (the oldest is 1842 and it's a flute aka the instrument I play! :P). And, of course, played period music! They even drank out of metal cups like they did then. Needless to say, I fangirled the entire time.
History + music + period costumes = YES
P.S. I learned Abraham Lincoln LOVED music. I think he and I would've gotten along very well.
That so exciting, A'laura. It's always so interesting to get to see reenactments of the way of living years ago. It kinda reminds me a some Civil War days I've gone to in the past where everyone had tents and lived completely like you would have during that time period for several days. I go to "met" all sorts of famous people from back then.
That is amazing!! There was a guy who played an 1800s version of a trombone and he's also an Abe Lincoln portrayer!
That's neat. I'm trying to remember what band players there was because I know they had one when the "soldiers" were marching. It's been a while since I last went although they do it every year. What's sticking out distantly is a bagpipe player walking by himself with an old bagpipe from the 1800s. Lol

You do! That's so funny. My older sister hates them and I always joke around and say that I'm going to have them played at my funeral just to bother her. She jokes back that she won't come then :) I like the sound a lot and my ancestors came from Scotland so hey.
I adore Scotland. Besides America, Scotland is my favorite country. I'm also Scotch-Irish so it makes it even better!
Ah, my mom's side is English and my Da's (I just had to say that) is Scottish. So, I'm stuck with last name that no one can pronounce correctly.
I have a French last name. Pyeatt. I'm English, French, Scotch-Irish, Native American (Cherokee, Crow, Chickasaw), and Swedish. That's in no particular order either.
Have you done a lot of genealogy research on your family? I have an aunt who is big into that. I think it's neat but sometimes it can be overwhelming enough to keep track of your live relatives, not to mention all the ones going back a couple hundred years ago.
Not yet, but I really want to. We're thinking about my parents just doing it so that way my brother and I have the same. I've always been interested in my family's history and where we came from. Who knows, maybe some really super important person in history is related to us!I do know, however, that my great-great-great grandma was a chief's daughter of the Crow tribe. I know that directly, it's been passed down. I know a lot of people claim they have a Cherokee princess in their history, but I know mine is real.

I'm not sure which grandma married out of the family. But it's something I want to find out.
I'm so excited but also very nervous because I go to the DMV to get my temps today after my driver's ed class!Yes, I am already 16, gonna be 17 in early November too XD but we were so busy during the school year that we didn't even worry about getting into drivers ed. But now it's summer and I have time so I can drive soon!
That's exciting. I'll be praying that everything goes well. I know I would be very nervous too :) This spring my dad wanted to get me doing drivers ed before he got busy with work. But I really didn't feel ready to start so I think I'll be starting this fall instead. I'm 15 going on 16 in November. I shake my head at the fact that anyone's willing to let my drive on my own on the roads. Scary!
I got a permit when I was 18 and a license when I was 20. And that was plenty soon enough for me. :)(Auto correct wanted to change "20" to "39." Eh. NO.)
Haha Yes, I hope not. Yeah, I know quick a few people who have waited a while before getting their permit.
My friend who just turned 18 didn't have to take the class since she's 18. She can take the test, and if she passes she holds her temps a week and then can have her license after that week. It's weird.
Yes, that's rather quick. Let's hope that she's had enough driving experience ;)
Yes! Most people who do wait until they're 18 get into more crashes and more tickets. It's not really successful. Yes, her mom and sister did that and they haven't gotten pulled over or in a crash, but they're in the minority. So I just hope and pray she'll be okay on the roads.
I can see that happening especially in the city driving when it might be easy to panic. Where I live a lot of the farmers' kids are used to driving tractors in the fields so they don't bother that much with driver's training and just take the test when they're old enough. I'm not that way at all and I would diffidently need the classes!
Yes! I prefer the classes. I live in town by the city park which is surprisingly not very busy. But I live in a small town. If you've ever been up to Antigo, WI, then you'll understand! XD my mom is taking me out some back roads today after my driving class so I can start practicing all the maneuvers and getting a good feel of the car.
I agree - even though I waited and didn't need classes legally, I took them anyway. I wouldn't have wanted to take the test without the knowledge as well as lots of practice!
And, the insurance is higher if you don't take the class. Yes, it's lower than 16-year-olds because they're older (but only by two years which I think is stupid) but the insurance is higher than the 18 year olds who took the classes.

I didn't realize that much about the insurance part of that. Hmm.. It shows how practice always pays off.
I bought Resistance not too long ago! My first Ilyon book! :D Now I need to get the rest sometime.... :)
I bought Samara's Peril and it arrived yesterday! I'd already read it for review, but now I actually own a physical copy. Unlike the other books, I won't have to take it back to the library and it doesn't have an little label at the bottom of the spine.
