Wow we talk a lot. Honestly, this is one of two great that I'm active on. XDPSSSST...by the way, guys, it's Gabs' 16th birthday today. Don't forget to tell her happy birthday, and let's pretend she can't see this!

I can count the number of times I've seen a movie in the theater on one hand, Stargazer. xD And two of those were reruns.
I have... never been to a movie theater. And I don't watch a lot of movies in general. Like, at all.
I've gone off and on in my life. I saw The Hobbit 1, Horton Hears a Who twice, Epic, Frozen, Son of God, Cars, Cars 2, Veggie Tales Jonah movie when I was two (yes I remember this), G-Force, Veggie Tales Pirates Who Don't Do Anything when I was 7...and on. I haven't gone much as of recently. Mostly for kids movies when I was younger. We also have a Drive-In an hour away, so I saw Wall-E, Monsters University, The Lone Ranger, Brave, and a few others.
I got to see a lot of movies when I was younger - but the last one was either the first Narnia or the Hephalump Movie (I don't remember which one came out when, though), but then our dollar theater closed, and we couldn't afford it anymore. The only movie I've seen recently in theaters has been the Hobbit 2.
1000th comment WOOHOO!!! That's awesome, Gabs!Hey, I wonder how many these threads are allowed to have...
@Firefly: I can totally understand that. My family didn't used to watch movies much at ALL. And we don't have a TV.
Alyssa wrote: "Oh, sorry. That Jaye isn't strict.
But yes! Star Wars will either be awesome, or it will brake every single persons' hearts into millions of pieces... But yes. Awesome."
Yay that Jaye is not strict! :D
I'm so excited and worried about Star Wars seven too... I wasn't excited till I saw the second trailer. Now I'm very very excited. Though not half as excited as my little brother, who is literally counting on the calendar the days till it comes out. XD
I saw Cars when it was new--the was my first time. Then Kit Kittredge (a rerun), then HOP when it was new, then The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (a rerun). That was like...four years ago. That was the last time I saw anything in a theater. We don't watch too many movies anyways. I was really, really sensitive to movies when I was younger, and now I have a little brother like that. So, yeah.
I Know this Is Delayed But, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABRIELLA!!!!! *throws blue and silver confetti everywhere;)*
Oh Hannah please don't start an other war!Happy belated b-day Gabriela. (16 is totally awesome, it's like the best year of teenagerism)
*sprays Goodreads with an impenetrable glitter spray that makes all glitter thrown disappear forever*
Thank you Hannah and Sarah!!! But please don't start a war... We should create our own group if we want a war. Maybe we could call it "Glitter Mania" or "Glitter Wars".
A GROUP FOR GLITTER!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS....*frowns at the glitter spray and starts throwing yak eyes in a rebellious fit of rage at Kendra and Resterwen and Amanda*
*pets Amanda because she looks puppy-ish just now* I assume that request is mostly directed at Firefly?
*makes a weird describable face that looks ridiculous if we're going to be honest* Okay, then... *has her sentient vacuum cleaners vacuum up the yak eyes, but sadly sentient vacuum cleaners are apparently allergic to yak eyes and so they die a slow and terrible death but the yak eyes are gone so there**takes out a bucket of different livers from all sorts of different animals that were already dead so they're not dying of lack of liver*
I think Jaye needs to make us a "Epic Silliness" thread over in "off topic"... I think that's the only way to fix this mess... XD@Firefly: You are so funny. XD
Lol! Okay, I'll be home from my reenactment today, so I'll see what I can do once I get back to my computer. ;)
Firefly wrote: "I have... never been to a movie theater. And I don't watch a lot of movies in general. Like, at all."We love going to the movies. The awesome popcorn, the darkness of theater, the trailers, the surround sound.
We just love it.
I like going to the theater, but I don't like the prices. It's generally more worth it to wait and buy the DVD. I'm rather selective about what movies I go see, for the most part, adaptations of books I like that I don't want to wait for the DVD for.
I LOOOVE going to theaters, there just aren't many cool movies coming out...Jaye, a reenactment of what? :)
*creeps in*Theaters are cool, especially when one goes to them rarely, like me. ;) I love going to the drive-in theater. XD But yeah, only if it's a movie I know about... so I don't actually go to many. *shrug*
Speaking of movies... I just saw Beyond the Mask (again) on DVD -- AAAAAAAH IT'S SO GOOD. <3
*creeps out*
Alyssa wrote: "Thanks for creeping in Deborah! Drive-in theaters are awesome!!"I don't know how many there are because I always thought they were rare, but I keep running across people who have them in their area! But yes. :D SO FUN. (And cheaper. ;))
Definitely cheaper when you have eight in your family. And I always thought they were rare. We have two that are 40-60 minuets away. We don't get to go often, but they're fun!
I've never been to a drive-in, but there's supposedly one in the county just north of us. We'll have to go sometime.
Drive-ins are awesome. We have one about an hour away from us, and the nights we go are usually days I've been surfing, and it's just wonderful. We only go once a summer or so, though.
