*destroyed cream puffs release an invisible, scentless gas that causes all who breath it to perceive black glitter as whatever color they hate the most, until it drives them crazy*
MY CREAM PUFFS! *Alistair screams in dragon language: "MY CREAM PUFFS!**we turn to Firefly and blast her with the brightest, biggest blast of rainbow glitter ever know to man, dwarf or elf kind*
KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
*Alistair gobbles treat*I think he's a bit jealous of my silver flying glitter moose Florien... *pats Alistair*
I thought that this was a thread for chatting, not being randomly silly. It seem that I'm mistaken though.
*covers entire body with glitter war paint*THAT'S RIGHT! WE WILL FIGHT TO THE DEATH AND WE WILL WIN. GOOD ALWAYS WINS.
*Tar swoops in and saves me*Stargazer, you are in so much trouble (wait. I'm sounding like my mother)!!! Ahhh...
*Tar grabs Stargazer with his claws and takes her to the tree fortress where she is put in the deepest darkest dungeon there ever was*
*there she will sit in the stickiest blackest glitter glue chair*
You know, if you think us dwarves then you know we'll have the best dungeons and caves EVER! Mwahahaha!!!
*except that was just an flesh double of Stargazer, and it melts into a pile of silver and blue glitter as soon as it touches the chair.*
By the way, we "dwarves" are magical creatures, so you're "cream puffs" won't work on me. Even if they did, my dragon is a healer... I'll leave you to guess the outcome.
*glares at Gabriella* I should have kept you tied. aims wand towards tree house castle thingy and taps wand sends glitter explosive and blows up tree fort* ha
Yeah *high fives everyone* it was really fun and a great glitter war everyone! You guys are amazing:)
And there's the unfortunate author... "No. No. I'm never entering my books in any sort of a contest ever again. And if someone else nominates me, I'm not making it public. Definitely not telling the Goodreads Girls. Ever. I just can't have this kind of base carnage on my conscience..." ;) ;)
However, the glitter has been taken over to the Pillow Fight thread on the Jorum... so if anyone just can't let it go, they can go over there.
Okay, I suppose we should be done (or maybe I'll just message you for some more glitter wars). It was quite fun! Darkness rules (at least, until Jace and Kyrin save the day)!!!!! Hehehe...
*turns on giant vacuum, sucks in every last piece of glitter. leaves Goodreads shiny and clean**comes out from barrier*
Hi guys! good to see you all again! Jace and Kyrin are liking Resistance. But it triggered a few bad memories for Jace.
*balks because there are over a hundred new comments* *reads through*lol, great war, guys. :)
(Even though I was, unfortunately, absent for the last half of it... :P)
I was absent for most of it too! But, I was on the winning side (because a draw is the same as winning, right?).Good war guys! I will always remember the Epic Glitter Battle of the Five Armies that only had Three Armies. :P
*is furious and rebellious and dumps a pile of glitter on whoever suggested ending the war* NO ONE DIED!!! YOU CAN'T CALL IT A PROPER WAR IF NO ONE DIED! WHAT IS THIS? WHO ARE YOU ALL, YOU LITTLE MISERABLE MORTALS? You can't just - *sputters angrily* - suddenly get along with each other! This was a war! They tried to invest the goodreads chat room with colored glitter that was not black! *storms out to go invade the Jorum with black glitter*
I had so much fun guys! Thanks for the awesome last couple days! :D *sets the Battle of the Five--er Three Glitter Armies on favorite memories shelf* The Jorum is the forum, yes? I didn't want to go back over there but now I might have too...Bria wrote: "I thought that this was a thread for chatting, not being randomly silly. It seem that I'm mistaken though."
We're sorry Bria, it IS a thread for chatting, we just got carried away having fun. But we're done, so thread for chatting it shall be again!
If anyone has anything to say/chat about PLEASE come back over here and say it! The crazy glitter girls are sorry if we scared anyone away. :)
Well, I did stay away during the glitter war, but I'm back. Random topic: I just saw War Room and it was SOOOOOO good. Anyone else seen it yet?
You should. It was really awesome. The theater was packed and everyone even clapped at the end. I'm planning to write a review on my blog, since my sister really wants to write the one for Shire Reviews.
I don't mind at all.Yes, War Room is great.
We went to one of the first showings, before the theaters were filling up. I'd never been to the movies when it was so empty. But then I've only been twice before to see Voyage of the dawn Treader and 3D and Courageous. Now that was packed.
I, on the other hand, have mostly been to empty theaters. A packed theater is almost an entirely new experience for me. Alas, I can no longer count my theater experiences on my fingers. I was proud of that fact, but Cinderella pushed the count onto my toes. ;) I didn't see a movie in theaters until Prince Caspian, though.
I have to admit I've seen many movies in theaters (and most of them were empty, but I've been to 1 or 2 that were packed). Most have been in the last three years, I think. I mainly go to see MARVEL, DC, Hobbit, etc. films. I've even gone to a midnight showing twice!
My three youngest siblings are under six, so we don't get to go a lot. But usually when I go to the movies it's for Marvel movies with my dad, and we went for the three Hobbits, but that's basically it.
I'm hoping to go see The War Room soon. I saw a trailer I think it was when I watched a movie at the cinema recently. I can't be sure, but it really looked great!
I haven't seen The War Room... Doesn't sound like my type of movie...I think I can still count my times at a theater on my hands without toes, though not if you count going to the same movie twice. I got to go to the first Hobbit movie three times. :D I went with my big siblings, but we argued about whether we should watch it in 3D as our first 3D movie or not, so we went the first time in 2D, second in 3D (only 3D movie I've seen), and then the third time we took our little brother to see it at the drive-in theater which is less scary, since you control the sound and the screen is smaller. The other two Hobbit movies we went once to "real" theater, and once with little brother at drive-in. So I was a very happy theater going girl for three years. ;)
I want to go to Star Wars seven... This conversation should really be on the movie thread, shouldn't it? XD We can never seem to talk about the right things in the right threads. Good thing Jaye isn't too picky. ;)
Oh, sorry. That Jaye isn't strict. But yes! Star Wars will either be awesome, or it will brake every single persons' hearts into millions of pieces... But yes. Awesome.
Star Wars...nothing can compare to it. I LOVE it!!!!! I'm nervous and excited for the new one.Guess what?! This is the 1,000th comment on this thread! Woo hoo!!!
