Caroline Luce | 3 comments Hello my name is Caroline I'm 19 and I actually disliked reading but I was always envious of people that liked it. I know it was because I never found a book that really clicked with me. Since I'm taking a gap year due to the pandemic I figured now is the best time to pick up reading and educate myself in other ways. I figured 1 book a month is a good start. I plan on doing this for 8 months until I start school next fall when I wont have as much time to read for fun. I'm pretty excited about this new book I've started. I'm currently reading Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind and it's the first time I've actually been interested in a book! I'm also hoping my writing skills develop the more I read. If anyone finds this and has book recommendations for people like me that don't really like to read, that would be much appreciated. Can't wait to start this journey. Wish me luck!

Caroline Luce | 3 comments Okay so since I started reading it a day ago I now have 2 weeks to finish the book. Hopefully I can stick to this plan:

currently on page 26/414

this week (deadline jan. 23)
- complete 2 sections (pg. 162)
- 20 pgs/day

next week (deadline jan. 30)
- complete last 2 sections (pg. 415)
- 33 pgs/day

We are reading Homo Deus: A History of Tomorrow (same author as Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind) as a buddy read in March, and you are very welcome to join us.
