For anyone who may be interested, the Current Status spreadsheet is now available. It shows the current points of all teams and a rank of each team's position.Please keep in mind that this may not always be truly indicative of where we stand because all team captains are different in how they handle posting books — some only update once a week, while others will update every day. I tend to update at least every other day, though sometimes I'll take a break on the weekends.
This sheet will be most accurate at the end of the month each month when all the month's info is due. If memory serves correctly, they might also ask captains to make sure everything is updated in the middle of the month to see where everyone stands before mini challenges start . . . if I'm thinking of the right challenge. :-P
The link to the Current Status sheet is also in the "Important Links" post in the first page of the thread for easy access.
So I'm reading Concrete Rose. It's a prequel, so it's listed as #0. How does that work here? Is it a 2nd book in series since it was written second?

Is it a 2nd book in series since it was written second?"That one is one of the weird exceptions. It has to go by the number on Goodreads, so it isn't considered second in the series. But it has to be a standalone to be considered 0, so #0 in a series doesn't count. So we'll have to look for other options to figure out where to place it! (I can tell from the page that it will at least count for 2 because of the author's last name.)

Yes! I've already gotten In a Holidaze transferred to our spreadsheet. So just do like you did for that one with any books you finish (not just this month but throughout the whole challenge).
Make sure it's a new post for each time you're posting new books rather than editing an old post -- I only look back till the last time I posted the "updated to here" icon to update the spreadsheet with new books, so I won't see any comments edited that are before my latest update post.

Sorry for being a pain - I forget the rules between the different groups and challenges - I have non-fiction to read. What letters can I claim? 1. Title 2. author first name and 3. author last name, I know those for sure. What about the subject if it's a biography? Somewhere I've been able to use that in the past, but I don't remember where. These challenges are not the greatest for those of us who read 25+ NF books a year.

Thankfully we also have the standalone / # in series to work from. So if they're standalones, they should at least work for 0. If they happen to be in a series (unusual for NF but I've seen it before), we could use it for #1-9 depending what number in series it is.

Tbh Em i know i really liked the first but it was over 5 yrs ok and i couldnt remeber bits they were talking about , there wasnt much of a plot and there were 2 lots of charcters they came across 1 from first book who i dont remeber who they were so i was lost on that bit and the other couple are from another series ( that ive read ) and it wasnt until the other said at end that i clicked who they were .So althought it was an ok book in itself , and nice.to catchnup with Morgan & Grant , nothing great to write home about ☹..sorry I'd prob have enjoyed more if smaller gap between the 2 books
