I'm on page 53 of "Love in the Time of Cholera" and I'm already questioning my decision! What a slog so far... and the font is tiny. Still, I'm chugging along and should have it completed in the next couple of days.

I think it will improve... at least I hope so! We'll see, I guess...

So some combo of megan/Diane is cover 4 Blue and 5 Blue. I'm a little confused on who is doing what but Diane's book can cover both so I'm just considering them both covered. :-PI do have a book on my list that looks like it will fit for 8 red if no one else wants to claim that one.

Diane has it covered! We just switched around who was doing what a few times so I got confused. But we figured it out!
So books read in February can count for March if not used for the previous month, right?

They can be started in February, so if you are currently reading something and finish it on March 1 after the countdown, it can count for March. But if it’s finished in February it won’t count.
That reminds me I need to post the countdown link for you all. I’m waiting at the vet with my cat now but I will post the countdown link later tonight when I can get back to my computer!

We read one more book for wild draw 4 than we actually needed (I didn’t originally notice that we had a wild draw 4, color card, and draw 2 in the same hand) and thankfully the book Gwen read for her WD4 will fit for the missing yellow, so I can shuffle those around. I have 24 hours after the round finishes to finalize the spreadsheet, so I’ll move it around tomorrow if we need it.
I also started reading Love in the Time of Cholera last night as a backup in case Gwen can’t finish it — and she was right, it is BORING. So hopefully we hear from her soon so I don’t have to finish it ;-) but I’m prepared to finish it before the deadline if we need it.

Its difficult to say cos not everyone put their books in but for 30 teams it ranges between 2,100 - 2, 875, so pretty close
Yeah right now one of the teams has a spreadsheet error so the ranking on the status sheet isn’t working properly. I believe our max point total for this round will be 2,855 if I counted correctly (we have 2,770 currently, and then can get 30 points for the last color book, 15 points for completing that last hand, 10 points for finishing the last mini challenge book + 30 bonus points for it being our assigned book.)
There are some teams above 2,855 for we won’t be on the top few places, but it looks like the highest right now is 2,900 so even if we aren’t at the top, point wise it’ll be VERY close. That’s why I’m all about those bonus points whenever we can get them.... ;-)
I’m hoping that in April we end up with more Wilds, Reverses, etc and fewer Draw 2s cuz March was not kind to us when it comes to point maximums!
Hi guys! I am so sorry that I didn't write sooner, we had some family issues here, but now I am kind of back to normal. I am so sorry that I haven't been a better co-captain until now!
So, good news, I just finished my yellow #9 book and I will write a completion post in my next post. For the next months I will finish all my other books, that I planned to finish in February.
Again, I am so sorry.

It looks right to me. Are you referring to the points? For some reason color cards give an error in the points column so you just have to manually enter it for those. Looks like that’s what you did so it looks correct to me! Thanks for adding it.

March has officially begun!I have finalized our spreadsheet for February. It looks like most teams have by now. We currently rank at 11, but the point totals for all the teams are very close (we are only 90 points off the lead). So keep up the good work! We did awesome in February. Good job team!!
So looking at SS all teams have completed all hands and read all 40 mini challenge books , so basically its the luck of the drawer to what cards are given out to who the winning team is , or are other mini task likely to be harder
