Please let me know if you can't/don't want to read your claimed colour cards below. We have one unclaimed WD4 - It could repeat any of the green cards or 4 Blue.

6 Red - Allison
4 Yellow - Allison
1 Green - Celia
1 Green - Celia
3 Green - Anubha
4 Blue - Allison
8 Blue - Jessamine
9 Blue - Lindsay

WILD DRAW 4 - 8 Blue - Jessamine
WILD DRAW 4 - 9 Blue - Allison
WILD DRAW 4 - 4 Red - Jessamine
WILD DRAW 4 - 4 Yellow - Anubha
WILD DRAW 4 -

Otherwise we have 27 more cards to fill for the regular UNO, and 40 for the mini-challenge. And more than 2 full weeks to do it in. :D No problem all!

Also, books published in 1984 - careful, there are few that are improperly shelved.

I am 75% done with my first Green 1, and I plan to read the other next week.

The hand books and mini challenge books can overlap, so potentially we only have 40 left if they all work, right? "Books used for this mini challenge do not need to be separate books for what you are claiming for your UNO hands."

I recently finished 1st book in the series, am currently reading the 2nd one, just 50 pages left, next is ofc the Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) by Sarah J. Maas . I think I will read my claimed cards by the end of the week.

I won't be finishing Legendborn (Legendborn, #1) by Tracy Deonn this month. I had to return it to the library, so I'll have to finish it in March or April. I will change it on the spreadsheet to another book I'm reading. I'm currently reading The Book of Ivy (The Book of Ivy, #1) by Amy Engel & The Vegetarian by Han Kang . I'll start The Revolution of Ivy (The Book of Ivy, #2) by Amy Engel later this week.

I finished them and marked them read on GR around 7:30 p.m. on New Delhi (Indian) time. Do you want the New York time? The time difference is 10 hrs and 30 minutes. So while it was 7:30 p.m. here, it must be about 9 a.m. there.

message 239: by Allison Ann (new)

Allison Ann | 1245 comments So teammates, regarding the mini-challenge, sounds like some of our links might end up being too tenuous, (ie. MPG Fiction is too broad), so hopefully Jane will finish the book soon and give us some possible links. I read the book so long ago, that it is fuzzy in my mind. I did some remembering and digging though.

Possible links - the professions of the MCs - doctor, professor, painter. Another one changes professions often. There's a wedding, the breakup of a marriage, lots of infidelity, some romantic stalking. The MCs move to a different country. There are deaths in a car accident. A suicide attempt.

In The Book of Ivy there's a wedding and in The Revolution of Ivy there's a divorce. Could those work as connections?

And for A Torch Against the Night could the connection be: average rating above 4.0? I think I saw you use that in the spreadsheet.

In The Book of Ivy is it main characters getting married? Also, I don't remember if there is actually a divorce in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, I think the men just keep leaving their wives for younger mistresses. Maybe I should just reread the damn book. :D

From the synopsis, it sounds like the MC leaves Korea and follows a man to Japan, is this right? Because that's how I linked it to our mini.
