I have a question about the reverse cards. Does it have to be a book someone read during this game or just read at anytime?
Faith wrote: "I have a question about the reverse cards. Does it have to be a book someone read during this game or just read at anytime?"Any time.

How did you use so many cards for Green?
Those are all the possible cards my book works for. It will only be used for one card on the official sheet.

Hi Team, Please remember to check in on the thread once a week. I know things can be busy, but it's helpful for me to know you are still around and playing even if you haven't finished any books. Thanks.
Thank you. I read Salt to the Sea a couple years ago and really enjoyed it even if it was a tearjerker.
Hi, guys! It's been a busy week so I'm a little behind where I thought I'd be. I'm hoping to finish the book over the weekend & have a completion post up by Monday.
Hello! I am finishing up a book I had started last month. I am listening to the audiobook, and the voice actors do a great job, but story-wise I probably would DNF it if I was reading the physical copy. The book I started off with for the challenge is
, which I am enjoying so far. I like the creepy atmosphere. I'll have it finished within the next couple of days too.
Just finished The Removed! Will update in a bit with my next read. Gotta change a diaper and chase a baby around now.

I've read it so it also works as a reverse.
I’ve gotten a little bogged down by reading a classic, but I should finish tonight - completion post coming tomorrow. I’ll move onto some crime fiction after that, I read those quickly so will get a few cards covered :)
I have another question :)I was interested in Salt to Sea when Deeksha first mentioned it and looked to see if it was something that I could get at work. Two editions are available. The hardback
and the paperback
. If I have them get me the hardback will it also count as a blue card?

The Blue 6 is covered and I think the WD4 - blue6 is taken, so don’t worry about which edition you get. I’ll probably end up using it as a reverse as we have a couple books that weren’t committed for a blue six that will work for one already.

It looks good. Your 4 doesn’t start with an F though. Needs to be fourth in series or have an F that work for character, nickname, author, or setting.

Do we have all of our cards covered for this month? Now that I have fulfilled my obligation, I can read something else if it's needed. Let me know!
Feel free to read whatever you would like. We have 1 WD4 not covered, but we are doing pretty good on our color cards. I’ll get the SS updated and post a list of what is covered and what is left in the next couple days. We have about 84 books left for the month, to cover all of our cards. There are about 5 reverse cards left if you want to read the Handmaid’s Tale.

Hey, sorry, it might seem like I am MIA, but I am having some trouble with my college work. At present I am reading The Story of Silence by Adam Myers. I am hoping to finish it by Sunday. But I might be delayed due to upcoming tests. I'll update as soon as I finish reading it.
February Mini ChallengeHere is the link to the rules and explanation: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
We have A is for Alibi as our book that we will be connecting to. I've never read this book, but if someone has that will be helpful for connecting our books to it. The mini starts on the February 14. It seems like a pretty straightforward mini, but if anyone has any questions please let me know.
I've read A is for Alibi and a few more in that series. I don't remember the details of the book itself, but I remember about the series in general...- female private investigator
- crime fiction series
- set on the West Coast of the USA (not LA, I think its a fictional small city a bit south of LA)
- set before mobile phones, DNA, etc.
Some ideas for linking books: a crime fiction series, books starring a female investigator, crime fiction books not involving forensic science, a LONG series of books (the author got up to "Y is for..."), an unfinished series of books (author passed away), books involving the alphabet...
I'm happy to read A is for Alibi again if thats helpful Annalisa, its been a few years since I read it.
