Team Back to the Future
I've added five of our ten Uno Pixie books for the month. I tried to cover tasks that we didn't want to read for. I also grabbed the red 8 so that we had that covered for the month. Ashley how is the Green 2? Do you need someone else to read for that?
Tasks I know cannot be covered with Uno Pixie books14* read a book with a bright/neon pink cover (i.e. preferably not a pastel pink)
19*: read a book with a character who goes to the hairdresser or stylist
31b*: read a book that you can connect to your own team's movie (be as creative as you wish)
B14*: read a book with a character who is a werewolf
B15*: read a book with a character who is a vampire
B17*: read a book with a fabulous dress on the cover
14* read a book with a bright/neon pink cover (i.e. preferably not a pastel pink)
I will start this next
Maddy wrote: "Um. One question really - what is the movie?"Our movie is Back to the Future. Short description: it is about a scientist, often seen as crazy, who builds a time traveling car. He takes a young boy into the future and then returns to the present day. (I really can't remember much more about the movie)
Are there any of the tasks you want me to cover with Uno Pixie books?
I really hate this delay in notifications. I should have seen your post hours ago.

Oh, okay then. I don't know if I have something fitting, but maybe a young boy on the cover or something
I don't know yet. I don't plan my reads so I can't tell you what I will have. There is definitely a vampire coming up, one of my arcs. Werewolf is easy. Don't have any werewolves coming up that I know of, but I haven't paid attention to my arc schedule, because I am late as it is. I need to do a lot of catching up this weekend, so the best I can give you is Monday, then I should be caught up with my arcs and can look for something extra :)
Whoops. I lied. I have a werewolf arc coming, deadline tuesday. My bad. Um, the dress is probably not happening. I mostly read MM, and all my arcs are also mm, so a dress is really unlikely

Hey, I have Ruby Red with me on Kindle. Does this count for a dress. Should I start this, if it applies?

32b : read a book that you can connect to another team's movie (be as creative as you wish) >>> We can connect this book with Team Die Hard as Vampires are quite resilient to death, they live thousands of years.
B15* : MC is a vampire
Ok, so I am starting Ruby Red which will fit in for Dress task, as well as Movie to connect to our own team's name. This book is on Time Travel. Also, I have The Witch's Heart on audio, which I am starting today. This covers B14*
But I won't be able to start on Neon Pink Emma which I had originally committed. So if Pink is being covered by someone else, then we should be good, right?
Komal wrote: "Hey, I missed updates in the past few days/weeks. How is UNO Pixies books counting in our team?"I’ve been unable to reach one of our members for the entire month. Uno pixie tried too and no response so books are covered with uno pixie books.

Are re-reads allowed? If I don't stumble across a hairdresser or a stylist in my next reads, I might reread a book where MC is a hairdresser/stylist if that is allowed
I’m asking to see if a historical setting will work? If it does I have a book that I already read that can be moved there. I think it is currently in the gets up earlier than normal slot.
Well "more to love" is Mc baker who gets up at like 5 am to make pastries. So if it gets approved, you might do some creative moving around :)
