Crystal | 326 comments Does anyone know of any forums just like this one that are dedicated towards movies instead of books?

This Goodreads forum has done wonders for helping me track down some of the more obscure titles of books - now I'm trying to do the same for all the movies I've forgotten.

If you know of any similar threads/forums for movies let me know!

--- Also here is the movie that I'm trying to find if anyone has any ideas: ---

Solved Movie: Drama/Adventure, Incest, Brother (in late teens/20s) creepily makes a move on captive sister, Watched around 2010-2012?

I watched this film around 2010-2012. The main scene I remember happened near the ending where the brother creepily tries to make a move on his younger sister. The brother and sister are either in their late teens or early twenties.

I remember clearly how that scene played out. The brother and sister are alone in the locked bedroom where the sister is held captive (due to some larger plot reasons that I don't remember). The brother is the one tasked by the bad guys to make sure the sister doesn't escape and he legit makes a move on his own sister. He whispers in her ear and creepily says "our father tried to keep us apart for so long, but he isn't around to stop us any longer".

The sister is scared/disgusted. But she gets rescued by the good guys before anything happens.

If I remember correctly, the bed in the bedroom is a four poster with maroon/dark red sheets. The siblings both had very pale skin with dark brown hair (but I'm not 100% sure about these details)

Also the incest thing doesn't dominate the entire movie - it's a brief and very random scene that appears somewhere in the 3/4 mark of the movie. The majority of this movie focuses on other things (that I don't quite remember) and the brother is a minor character.

This movie is definitely not a mainstream film. It wasn't a very good movie and it's definitely not Game of Thrones or anything on that level. I feel tempted to say it was a low budget movie but the costumes/props were pretty decent. It was the plot and the dialogue that felt low budget-ish. Also it's definitely a movie, not a TV series.

Unfortunately I don't remember anything else of this movie, just this one scene (it's the only scene I managed to see since i walked in on someone else watching this movie halfway). I'm not even sure what genre of the film it is either but I'm guessing it's either a drama or adventure

For some reason I also seem to think this movie was set in a historical/medieval period. But my memory is so fuzzy I wouldn't rule out any contemporary films that fit either.

Any help on what this movie is and how I can find out would be wonderful!

Crystal | 326 comments Some good news! I've found the name of the movie entirely by accident. I stumbled on the movie poster today and it sounded very familiar and I rewatched it - it's definitely the right movie.

The name of the movie is Brotherhood of the Wolf (if anyone else happens to be searching for it).

It's a french film & I watched it with english subtitles. It turns out I got most of the details right, the red room, siblings plus the historical time period. But I got the part where she gets rescued wrong - :c she doesn't actually get rescued in time
