Elizabeth Meadows (lizziefaye) | 424 comments Here is the thread where you can discuss what books you read for the 2021 Little House Readathon. I have set up a separate thread for the group read, Young Pioneers. But please chat about anything else you read here.

Jamie’s Reading | 21 comments I’ve been reading “Pioneer Girl”. I have been learning a lot about both Rose and Laura Ingalls Wilder. The book is a little textbook-ish but very interesting. I’ve had fun with it. One thing I did that was most enjoyable was google some of the songs Pa played on his fiddle for the girls before they would go to bed. “Money Musk,” “Arkansas Traveler”, and “My Darling Nellie Gray” are available on line. I really enjoyed incorporating these Scottish tunes in my read time.

Breezy Ann (breezyann) | 15 comments I didn't read along with Young Pioneers, but I completed Farmer Boy and By the Shores of Silver Lake.
When I was a kid, Farmer Boy was always my favorite. It has been fun re-reading them this winter.
