Gabrigeeta Can't wait for this! I'm hoping to re-read the original series and maybe read some of her other works if I have time.

Cheryl Gilmore (cherylgilmore) | 7 comments I'm so excited to finally read the original series. I've read the first two before I think, but I plan on rereading them and the rest of the series for this readalong. If I can find some of the other series from the library, I might try to sneak in one or two of those as well.

Cheryl Gilmore (cherylgilmore) | 7 comments Okay! I just went on an ordering binge on my library site and put on hold the four Martha Series books, and Pioneer Girl, the annotated Biography of Laura Ingalls Wilder. I'm the only person on hold for them so I should get it next Wednesday or maybe the Wednesday after. I hope I get them in time for the readathon, but if not, I'll just read the original series for it, since I own all of those. I'm looking forward to Pioneer Girl. I heard you talk about that book before on your channel, right, Elizabeth? I'm really looking forward to reading it. I have the annotated Anne of Green Gables book that I still have to read. Its just sitting pretty on my shelves. Lol.

Wow! So many good books Cheryl! I'm so glad that your library has all of the Martha books. By you checking them out, that will assure that your library keeps them awhile longer at least. I have Pioneer Girl and have shown it on my channel, but I have yet to read it. I need to though.

Jamie’s Reading | 21 comments I’ll be participating. I plan on reading “Pioneer Girl” Laura Ingalls Wilder. Excited to read this one!

Oh that is great!! I'm may read that as well. Although I have several that I want to read. So I might just have to make a jar of them and draw one out.

Jamie’s Reading | 21 comments Great idea Elizabeth. I saw your You Tube video...spin picking a book was a great idea, too. I think you mentioned it was another you tube person’s idea. Sounds fun!

message 12: by Tanya (new)

Tanya (thesamplergirl) I just put on hold at the libary -
Prairie Fires by Caroline Fraser
Becoming Laura Ingalls Wilder by John Miller
The Wilder Life by Wendy McClure
The Long Winter
Pioneer Girl
Confessions of a Prairie Bitch : How I survived Nellie Olson .. by Alison Arngrim

I obviously won't get to all but will be eager to see them in person and pick a few!

Kim (kimparonish) | 1 comments Hi! I’m Kim and new to the group. I’ve loved Laura Ingalls Wilder books since I was a young child. They were the first chapter books I could read myself. I’m 52 now so a long time. I am going to read Prairie Fires since I think it is the only one I haven’t read.

Hi Tanya, That is a great list. I hadn't heard of the John Miller book. So I've added it to my Goodreads list. Thanks!
Also, I have Wilder Life saved on Scribd and am planning to listen to that during the readathon.

Cheryl Gilmore (cherylgilmore) | 7 comments I'm getting the first book of the Martha series today at the library and I have the other three already signed out. I am so excited for the readathon! I'm going through some very stressful times right now, so reading this series will be nice.

Elizabeth Meadows (lizziefaye) | 424 comments Hi everyone! It's the 7th already on the other side of the world, so at least one of our participants has already started. I am so excited that several people are joining in this year. It's going to be fun!!

I have several lined up and will see how many I can get to.
In print I'm going to read Young Pioneers Young Pioneers by Rose Wilder Lane
and I Remember Laura I Remember Laura Laura Ingalls Wilder by Stephen W. Hines
If I have time I will also read Old Town in the Green Grove Old Town in the Green Groves Laura Ingalls Wilder's Lost Little House Years by Cynthia Rylant
On audio my main book will be Prairie Fires Prairie Fires The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder by Caroline Fraser
But I also have two more available on Scribd and might try to get to one of them as well.

A Wilder Rose by Susan Wittig Albert

Sara | 1 comments I’m reading the classic Little House in the Big Woods. This series is so special to me because this is what sparked my love of reading! Thankful for the Kindle editions since my original books are old and fragile and I don’t want pages to fall out. They are tucked away as collectibles! 📚🤓

Renée Williams | 1 comments I am reading Little House on the Prairie. I also plan to read Prairie Girl.
