This is a place to discuss Dark Archives, November 2020's book. Whether you read it in November, or anytime after that, let's discuss it here.

This book was fascinating. I thought I would be squeamish about books bound in human skin, but the author made it so interesting it didn't bother me. I really appreciated her attempt to tell the story of how the skin was obtained and why.

AJ | 3 comments I agree. Very fascinating. I added several museums and libraries to my places to visit wish list from this book.

Jessi | 6 comments I did find it fascinating. I also really liked her perspective on preserving historical information even if you don’t agree with what was done (or why, or how).

Chrissy Shea Adams | 2 comments I agree, this book was fascinating and I too have added some museums to my list. I really appreciated her academic take on the information- respect, understand, and learn from it, even if you don’t agree with why it was done to begin with. My only complaint was that it took to long for her to explain why they weren’t testing everything they found.
