Message #1 Book 1 This one a little confusing on World Cat. The entries that give a page number say 514. Can you tell me what is on pages 515-541 on your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't.
Book 2 - this one appears to be an ebook - is that correct? I can only use the publisher as a resource for page counts for ebooks & I am struggling to find anything on their website. https://products.abc-clio.com/ Skipping unless someone can provide further info.
Book 3 Also an ebook. The publisher says 230 pages, so that is the page count I have to use. Added.
Book 4 This is a kindle, so I have to use Amazon's page count. 222 pages added.
Book 5 World Cat (our preferred source for confirming page counts gives this book as 246 pages. Can you tell me what is on page 247-256 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't.
Also the binding is given as ring bound. Is that correct? :)

I am ashamed. I made some mistakes that you had pointed out. I don't know how I made them. I fixed the counting in the original comment. All your data are correct.

#2 You are right about the counting. My mistake. It's 80 pages.
#3 My edition it's a digital one. The publisher in it is Pat Remler.

No. It's ok. I own it in a pdf format but I downloaded it from the website of the Metropolitan Museum, the original publisher. The info should be right.

Book #3 Another confusing one. Looking at World Cat this seems to be 193pp. of text + 156pp of plates. I'm not sure if the plates should be counted or not. I'm reading a nonfiction book atm & the plates aren't counted in for that book. Could you look at your copy please and tell me how much text there is, not including advertising material, any extracts from other books & blank pages at the end.

#1 It has text, till the last page. The last 2 pages contain the Index but I think it still counts.
#3 These pages contain the plates. The plates are only images of artefacts cited within the book. There's no advertisement or extracts of another books.
#4 After the page 160 there's maps and timelines.

It's ok. You should check.#1 Actually it's 175 the last page. I was counting with the introduction and acknowledgements in the beginning of the book, but this section are not numbered. The index is 174 and 175.
#3 If you consider that the plates are not valid. The plates' section are not numbered pages.

World Cat (if you add the two page counts together) has this book at 349 pages. Rafael your page count is 404 pages. Any idea why the difference (advertisng material, excerpt from another book, blank pages at the end?
Before the "book" there are the introduction, list of abreviations, the catalogue of texts, indexes. They're 40 pages, so 40+156+193=389. My 404 was reached considering the blank pages between each section.

Considering all of the discussion. 40 pages of Roman numeral contents (indexes, introduction, list of abreviations), 193 pages of main text and 156 pages of plates with 2 blank pages between the main text and the plates. My math give 391 pages. You can check here (https://www.metmuseum.org/art/metpubl...), it was published by the Metropolitan Museum.
I make it 351 pages - unless it is two pages, blank either side? Then it would be 353 pages. I have added 351 for now. :)
