Shelly | 106 comments I finished my first book in the Writer’s Apprentice Series by Julia Buckley. “A Dark and Stormy Murder” I really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to reading the second in the series. The story moved right along and I didn’t guess the killer right away. There is a little bit of romance and a secondary mystery.

I highly recommend Shadow Box by Luanne Rice. I could not put it down.

Death in Dark Blue (A Writer's Apprentice Mystery, #2) by Julia Buckley
I really love this book and intend to continue reading this series. This has everything you need in a mystery. Intrigue, murder, romance, kidnapping and a wealthy, evil bad guy.

Wow I finished my two ( Murder and Brandy Boy (Liz Lucas Mystery #2) by Dianne Harman and The Death Card (Liz Lucas Mystery #3) by Dianne Harman ) and as they are nice quick reads I might read another couple in the series!

Helen (helennn) | 1020 comments A Trick of the Light (Chief Inspector Armand Gamache, #7) by Louise Penny

I’ve finished my first, and loved it. My only proviso is that I’m glad I’ve been reading this series in order, as a lot of what happens depends on knowing what happened to the characters previously.

Helen (helennn) | 1020 comments Finished my second, The Beautiful Mystery (Chief Inspector Armand Gamache, #8) by Louise Penny .
The first book in the series with no connection to Three Pines, so possible to read as a stand alone.

Zermeena | 725 comments I finished my books On Borrowed Time (Library Lover's Mystery, #5) by Jenn McKinlay A Likely Story (Library Lover's Mystery, #6) by Jenn McKinlay yesterday. I enjoyed the first one, but the second one dragged a bit and was quite predictable.
