A Bit of New Year News Re: The Murder Of Twelve!

Wrote and asked Jon Land if he'd like to pop in & say, "Hi" sometime during our Twelve read & discuss and not only did he accept, he suggested having a session, something of a live event.

As I believe we're in same time zone, this could work. I thought in about a week or Jan. end on this. He has a new release coming out in Feb. and might have events scheduled for that one. What say you PI's?

I told Mr. Land that we are a small group but thought to post a Goodreads shout-out to attract more participants. Okay, thinking, thinking-- Would love your feedback.

My library finally scheduled curbside pickup again, and I'm picking up the book today. What's the latest date he has available?

PI's, we can all pick a guesstimate date; I just tossed in above to get an idea of what might work for us.

What about Jan. 31st? Again, just tossing it out there. PI's, how about we all post a guesstimate date.

Might PugMom be interested in this? Hope she's okay. Haven't seen her post for a few days but I know we all breeze in and out as our schedules allow which seems to be working.

I think that will work for me. I just got a message that the book come in for me to pick up at the library. They are closed till Tuesday, because of the holiday. And so I will need to get moving faster in Canterfell!

No hurry, no worry, Pghfan. We PI's are movers and shakers with many irons in fire and repose to The Parlor for some "Aahh" moments. No rush. I'm still reading Twelve and plan to hit Codicil soon after. ;-)

Confession...been binge watching my Christmas present of The Crown these past few days. Went thru seasons 1 & 2 and have withdrawals waiting for 3 to arrive in mail. Now 2 new mysteries break on pbs and HallM so there's that. lol I will get back to my reading before season 3 of Crown arrives. I must!!

I TIVO'd the Agatha Christie special on last night at 10. (Too late for me!)

Me 2! Miss Scarlet didn't air 'til overnight but I have her, AC and HM all recorded! Too much of a good thing is wonderful!

Wrote Mr. Land with a penciled date of Jan 31st., his time. We'll see if this is good with him. If no, I offered for him to pick a date and if all fails, we'll just run discussion as per usual which was my first inclination. Mr. Land favored a more real time slot with him in attendance which was pretty generous of him. Whichever way it goes, it's all good! I'll keep you posted on updates.

Is PugMom okay? Haven't seen her in The Parlor for a few. Hope she's well!

Should we start this book on Jan 31st./Feb 2nd? I'm good either way. Mr. Land hasn't replied re: 31st. so I'll just leave it there. He may be busy with new book releasing. It's all good. ;-)
