We're going to kick things of this year with a book that is entirely selfish on my part, but I think a lot of you can get some use out of this too. The end of 2020 blew my plans out of the water. And now I'm trying to get back on the ball. I really like Joanna Penn's work, and when Dana let me know she had a new book out about Author Business Plans, I was all in!
I've had other writer friends tell me they were having the same issues, and could probably use a little guidance. Or at least a road map to get started. I think sometimes that's what we need: a starting point to make things feel less overwhelming. So, this month's roadmap will be: Your Author Business Plan: Take Your Author Career To The Next Level by Joanna Penn. Here's an Amazon link if you want to pick up a copy: https://amzn.to/3rQ2fYP
Next month, we'll go back to y'all choosing the books.
By the way, if you've picked up a real winner that you'd love for us to tackle, you can always make suggestions in here.
And while you're reading, if you want to throw out some thoughts on the book, please do! I'd love for this group to be useful for you and your writing journeys.
