I just finished a book set in Mizoram and I know that it is not easy to find books set in this state and about Mizo history and people, so I will share it here in case someone else is interested.Zorami by Malsawmi Jacob

Em, can we have the Indian authors /Indian books read challenge updated please?? I want to update my challenge and its not allowing.
I think as it was a yearly challenge it must have stopped working. not good at technical aspects ..will see what can be done.

@Leena, I bought it on Amazon Italy, so I don't know if for you it is available on Kindle Unlimited.

If you are interested in particular cities of India, I would recommend Banaras - The city of light by Diana L. Eck. This book gives a historical as well as the religious perspective of the great Kashi.
