Ok so personally I hate Thomas because he lead over 40 kids to their deaths. Not only that but he's just not great and in both the books and movies he just gets everyone around him killed, AND he makes bad decisions in like every chapter of the book. I say a bad character.

I don't think he was either "good" or "bad" I think that like all of the other characters and like every human, he is a mixture of both.
Idk I know people make mistakes but he got a lot of kids killed. I know he was respecting newts wish but if he hadn't gone to the maze then none of the boys would have died. And I'm sad that Newt never got to meet Sonya (his sister) again. But yeah. I hate Thomas. He indirectly killed over 40 kids.
But Thomas realized that WICKED’s plan wasn’t working and he saved his friends in the end so... good guy
