The Goodreads summary for my edition of "Chapman's Homer" (translator: George Chapman, circa 1600) refers to the skill of the modern translator Robert Fagles - Fagles isn't responsible for a single word in this edition.

This summary appears to be displayed on all editions of Homer in all the various translations, and presumably shouldn't be specific to the translator ("Here again, Fagles has performed the translator's task magnificently...") and editor of the individual edition first entered.
