Two years ago a friend lent me The Human Stain, which has shamefully been sitting on my shelf only half finished since then.. I intend to finish and return it this year.
I did not finish 'Walking Home: A Poet's Journey' by Simon Armitage. It was too boring for me, at the time that I read it. I think it was a BookBub recommendation, and I got it fairly cheap. I'm going to give it another try this year!
I picked Me Before You by Jojo Moyes for this prompt. I was listening to it as an audiobook back in 2016 while I was applying and interviewing for jobs. I couldn't finish because I had to return it to the library, and there was someone else with a hold on it. In the midst of moving into a new job, I never got back to it, but I wanted to give it another go.
I read The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas for this prompt. I am not sure why I DNF it when I started it a year or two ago, because it is one of the best books I can remember reading. Truly, an incredibly piece that should be required for all.
I read ‘Renegades’ by Marissa Meyer. I think I DNF’d it because something I had been waiting for was released, and then I kept forgetting about this one and finally just did DNF. I also didn’t get very far, so maybe it was just a combo of things. I really enjoyed it though and am looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.
